Sling Slingbox Solo

Better by far than Satellite TV – I have owned the Slingbox Solo for just over a year. Although I have seen a good share of negative reviews, I have experienced no problems with the unit itself. When my internet connection drops below 500kbps the picture becomes blurry, but that is rare. At 1.5mbps it's great & at 3+mbps it approaches HDMI quality. I plugged the unit in at a friend's house in Portland, Oregon and I get the entire (400+) channel lineup from Comcast Xfinity in realtime here. I am so pleased to watch TV from the USA, with quality video, I am beside myself! I connect my laptop via HDMI cable to my Samsung 46" TV. Now that's home theater at its best. 10 HBO, 6 Starz, 5 Cinemax, 8 Showtime, 7 Encore movie channels (with on-screen remote control) a 2 second delay after entering commands on the remote (expected, when the unit is in Oregon)
