Worst appliance I've ever bought – Not even 2 years old with very little use it has died.Bottom drawer never stays on rails regardless of how its stacked.Dont buy it, it is rubbish
It will fall apart after 6 to 12 months – Got it as all my kitchen appliances were smeg. The plastic inside disintegrates after a few months. From 6 to 12 months of age I had the repair guy out monthly to put on new spinners, runners , flanges and any other plastic bits. At 6 months the computer broke and needed replacing. My brother has a different model that in 12. Months older he has had all the same problems. Quiet All the internal plastic part fall apart after 6 months
Hi we also purchased a smeg dishwasher, its hopeless this is the 2nd time it has broke, we had no dishwasher for 1 month in April, yes 4 weeks of washing dishes the on/off button broke. Then in July the dishwasher would not fill we called out the repairman another 4 weeks with no dishwasher. Good Guys want us to talk about another dishwasher tommorrow. SMEG is a load of SH** do not buy its noisy and started to leak.
Terrible – A very poorly designed product. All our kitchen products are SMEG We purchased this machine out of loyalty to the Smeg name. What a shame.It is awful. Not many although it is quieter than our previous Smeg Dishwasher. * The lower basket is very poorly designed. The basket falls off the rails and jams when attempting to put the basket in with a full load.
The cutlery basket is very insecure and falls over during a wash.
The design off the lower basket makes stacking of small plates and bowls near impossible with out them falling over on to of one another consequently causing poor washes.
There is no way to check up to which point the machine has progressed in the wash cycle.
