Do not buy off soniq. they are awful – They falsely advertise that you can use the apps on their smart tv to view youtube, when the tv arrives you find out the system is out of date and you can't play anything, when you speak to their Chinese staff they just make out they cannot understand and pass you to different depts. They do not care when you threaten to sue them, eventually they agreed to take it back by put you have to pay the freight which is over $200. Terrible company
Excellent tv – Excellent tv for the price $639 from JB Hi-Fi only knock would be the speaker system needs too be beefed up a bit. Easy too use, quick set up Speaker system not the best
I have got two of these tvs 1 a plasma 1 lcd not one thing bad to say about these tvs i have had the plasma for 2 years now and still the same as the day i bought it.
I have had mine for 12mths and it's great no complaints here
Soniq – I bought my 42"LED Soniq 5 mths ago and have had no worries at all. The PVR works like a treat and once I got the hang of it it's great to use. The price was good and it looks good. Easy to use Not bad but the speakers could do with a bit more bass
as with any tv now they could use better speakers, when i buy a new tv i will not be acknowledging the sound as i will use my surround sound, most people have external speakers now instead of using tv's small rubbish speakers :)
The fact is the usb recording function is problematic. Difficult to use and no one at jb hifi seems sure how to use it. Three times in shop and three different pieces of advise.
The tv says "usb needs formatting" fat 32 i did that on three different computers and still after 3 weeks have not recorded one show. The staff need additional product knowledge..Guesses are not good enough.
