From Good to Bad – This camera has decided to play up on me! Just knocking or touching the battery compartment door during operation is enough to spell trouble with this camera: It turns off! Then, you have to wait for around 5 seconds while it gets its act together again. I'm purchasing another Sony - this time with the hope that it won't end up with the same problem as this piece of junk. Good image quality Touching the battery compartment door or jostling the camera shuts it off, the "HD" video pixelates when there is frequent movement when being played back on a Mac
Can't live without this camera! – This camera has been the best money spent. I have had it now for 4 years & use it almost constantly. It’s always reliable, the battery life is still fantastic even after all this time... I highly recommend this camera Inexpensive, energy efficient
All you could want in a camera! – Compact, easy to use, rechargeable battery and awesome pictures and videos, this camera does it all at the click of a button. Compact, simple to use, great clarity
Very disappointing quality – I like this camera for it's wide angle, HD movie, great light. It takes better photos than my old T7. BUT, it's very slow. The on/off button is too small and too deep for my fingers to press. And after pressing it, it takes a long time for the camera to turn on. Then when I press the button to take a photo, there's always a big delay before a photo is taken or a video to start to record. Well every camera has it's pros and cons so I can bear with these. BUT then, I can't stand having to send it back for repair for it's many problems. In the less than 10 months I've owned it, first the shutter got stuck for a while and I couldn't open it properly. Some magic fixed it. Then it couldn't focus any more. After a few days I had to send it back for repair which took 3-4 weeks. Today I couldn't turn it on! I was going to send it back for repair again but some magic happened again and I finally managed to turn it on. Who knows what'll happen next. It took my old T7 5 years to start having problems but this W570 couldn't even wait for 6 months. It's very disappointing quality. Inexpensive, compact, HD movie, wide angle, great light, good photos Bad quality, too many problems, hard to turn on/off, very slow
