Good – This is a fairly good entry-level DVD player, being cheaper than most, but of good quality. However, like some mid-high range players, this is high enough quality to pick up every scratch on the disc surface, but not high enough quality to be able to continue playing after a scratch has been found. For this reason, this player does not handle damaged DVDs or CDs well.

But, provided DVDs played are in good condition, this player gives a fairly high quality output, with the option of using digital connections to further improve it. Reasonably high quality DVD player at a good price. Cannot play even slightly scratched DVDs.

Good – Very good value for money, great compatiblity with cd-rs etc. Very pleased ith this product. When buying electrical goods SOny are normally my first choice and the same goes for dvd players. I also have an LG combo and i have had alot less troubles with this sony one.
