OK – It was good enough for the first year but now it's a bit disappointing and I can't wait to upgrade. I wouldn't buy this model again but I would still 'consider' another Ericsson but would probably go back to Nokia. Easy to navigate menus, big clear screen. Joystick is hard to use. It started to stop working properly about 1 month out of warranty… Read more

with a year to go on the plan (don't they all!) The speakers fail quite often and the phone needs to be squeezed or banged to get the audio working so you can hear on a call. Doing a phone number within an SMS is a pain as it doesn't let you set it to number only mode like you can do on a nokia.

A Great All-Rounder – The Sony Ericsson K800i is a great phone for the 3G beginner, or 3G expert! With the Sony Ericsson K800i you get video calling, a 3.2 Megapixel Cybershot Digital Camera With a very bright Xenon flash, FM Radio, MP3 Player, and Video recording and video playing as a standard. The main reasons for purchasing the Sony Ericsson K800i over other… Read more

products were the simplicity of the product, the colour, the high level of features, and finally; the 3.2 megapixel cybershot camera with Xenon flash (other mobile phones with camera flash use LED lights as a flash, which come out a lot more dull). Prior to purchasing, I considered the Nokia N73, because it was very similar in features to the Sony Ericsson K800I. I also considered the LG Chocolate (LG KG800) due to it's style, colour and design. The Sony Ericsson K800I has so far lived up to all of it's claims, and more! I loved the Design, durability, and the style of the k800i. Battery life can be short in high powered tasks.(Such as Videos)

Excellent – I remember I was so elated when I first got this k800i! It was the first 3.2megapixels camera phone I think. However, it was quite expensive then. It has been two years since the phone released. The price hasn't reduced much! The trade in price is still not quite bad! Surprisingly, its a VERY durable phone! Why? I have dropped it countless times… Read more

within this two years, but it is still as good as a new one! The screen has no scratches too! I want to sell this phone and get a new one! But, I really don't bear! Durable and great phone! I guess it is quite perfect!

Excellent – A great phone, good design and a internet hot key and great camera... I would recommend this phone to buy.... Very is to use. A good phone, big keys to send texts and a great design. Cannot take micro SD and cant use the camera near the screen only for video calling and cant delete some stuff that is already on the phone to free memory.

Excellent – This is an excellent phone to use with a good price. The speakers are loud and clear. There are tonnes of games compatible with this phone. It has additional software to modify you photos and videos. Good battery to use. Has all you need with a high quality camera available to use. Easy to use buttons. The joy stick allows use to navigate. Fast… Read more

processor to play games so it does not lag. There is a front camera that is unable to use to take photos. Only earphones allowed to use is supplied by Sony Ericsson and cost a lot to replace if is it broken. Expandable memory but uses a M2 card which is not popular and can not use in printers.

Good – Overall Sony Ericsson have made an astounding mobile phone with a great embedded camera. Overall its features and interface are good and I am pleased with this phone. 3.2 Mega pixel camera makes magnificent photos. The user interface is easy and simple to use and the audio quality for music is also great. Video quality is not the best.

Excellent – For me, Sony ericsson cell phones are the best cell phone, the price are more reasonable than another products in the same classes, the style is so charming, and I like the dozens of polyphonic tones, the 3G technology. THE GOOD: built-in Xenon flash, the style of k800i, and It has a 3.2 megapixel camera, not only just cam but also cybershot !!… Read more

Good – Enjoy the vivid colors, the dozens of polyphonic tones, the 3G technology, the crisp voice call reception, and the ease of operating this contemporary gadget. I know I did. I loved the Design Keypad, not enough memory

Excellent – Great multifunction device. I use the camera for recording work inspections. The FM radio has good reception. I have several CDs worth of music on the memory card (Came bundled with a 512MB memory card), and I use the phone on the plane in flight mode. I sync the phone with Outlook, so all appointments and reminders are in the phone. This phone… Read more

really is an all in one device. I considered the Nokia N73, this K800i won because of a better wrap for the camera (which has since been proven). Nokia N95 5MP going to be hard to beat next time though. Excellent 3.2MP Cybershot camera. A4 photos more than acceptable.

Metal body.

Very clear screen.

512MB micro memory card, came with Memory Stick adaptor. Doubles as a mobile memory device.

Large contacts memory/phone book.

MP3/FM radio capability.

Bluetooth (photo/file transfer, hands free kit connectivity)

Good quality earphones included in bundle. Speaker (hand free) volume is not loud enough (my previous K700i was louder).

The camera cover is overly protrusive, and often slides open when removing the phone from belt case or pocket, which "turns" the camera on even if the keypad is locked.

Larger and more bulky than my K700i. Hard to get a cover that fits the camera lens cover well and without making it more bulky (belt pouch is least worst).

No 3.5mm jack for earphones.

Hard to see screen in sun/bright light, although I don't this phone is an orphan in that field.
