Wonderful phone if you don't need a big display – I have had this phone for about 3 months now and cannot fault it. I am not a heavy user and easily get 3-4 days between charges. The phone has been completely reliable without any significant problems at all. I love how small and light it is - it's the only phone I've ever owned that I can truly slip into my pocket and forget it is there. Yes I can understand it's not suitable for the people who use their phones a lot for internet browsing or watching videos but if you don't need a big screen I thoroughly recommend the Ray. Convenient size, light weight, brilliant display, battery life. Occasionally it is a bit slow to change orientation but it's only a matter of a second or two.

Close, but no cigar – I have owned the Xperia Ray for about 6 months now, and it is my first smartphone. I was attracted to its smaller size, and the fact that Sony Ericsson usually make a decent phone. The photo and video quality using the inbuilt camera is excellent, especially with the video. Playback on PC and file management is pretty much seamless but it would be good to be able to manage phonebook contacts via the PC.

It comes so close to being a great phone, but falls short of the mark in a number of areas. The screen is just that bit too small for SMS'ing (especially if you're a bloke with large fingers), the battery life is absolutely woeful - if you manage to get more than 24 hours out of it i'll go heave - and the Android OS is still a bit laggy and frustrating to use at times when it does not respond to touchpad inputs. Looks, size, build quality, excellent camera Battery life, Android OS need to more refinement to make it truly user friendly.

Very sleek modern android phone – I purchased this last week & it was so easy & quick to set up & start using it. It has shortcuts to twitter, facebook, apps etc. Nice slim line sleek looking phone. It does take a little time to learn how to use the phone but once you understand where everything is on it & their uses its so easy. Nice lightweight, slimline phone Keyboard is tiny for sms
