about average so far – Our household has bought and regular use of the sony digital video disc player and it works quite well / sony even though most of their electronic items are made in China are quality built / the sony dvd player works quite well and provides a good picture and sound / the dvd player sometimes plays up now and again though its still going well after all these years / I can't comment on.the newer sony dvd player models though the.older ones are pretty good

Excellent – I was most impressed by just how easy this device was to use considering the multitude of options it has. It can do basically anything that you want & set up is totally intuitive without much need to refer to the manual, although not a bad idea initially. The build quality is very good & the layout of the unit, display, & remote are well designed. Unlike some PVRs the Sony doesn't suffer from excessive heat either in operation or standby. Having been to hell & back with a Toshiba HDD-J35 (now discontinued & no longer supported) the Sony RDRHDX760 is a great product which I would highly recommend, Excellent user interface, quite in operation, easy to copy from hard drive to DVD, takes all types of DVD, DVD R/RW+ & DVD R/RW-), fairly small size, good build quality. Has occasional lock up (requiring a power off) but this is common to most PVRs, timer setting could be better designed (direct hour/minute input rather than up/down arrows). The inclusion of high definition would have been nice but it's only standard definition.

Good – but overall it's a quit good product that made for customer that wants enjoy a good guality of the dvd or cd so the meaning of entertainment it self can be solve. it's a good product from sony that can make a clear visual and quality so we can enjoy the dvd it's to bad that SONY RDRHXD760 remote it's to big

Good – Overall this DVD player would be an extremely good buy as it will play hours and hours of movies for you without fail and will be completely reliable. slim easy to find a place to leave and looks good. works well and will stay working for a long time. Easy breakable control and if hit player could get seriously damaged and hard to fix.

Excellent – The reason I love this recorder so much is that it does so many things. 1. records to hard drive (then can record to disk) 2. records to disk (straight from live TV or from hard drive) 3. can record whist watching an already recorded show (so I was told, yet to try it though) 4. can record from my video recorder straight to DVD. (thats what I love the best, because I have an 8 year old boy that plays alot of sport)

5. its a set top box

Toomany to list. It seriously does so much and I wish we had of got it sooner than we did. It does away with having 3 or more players/set top boxes etc. Instead you have 1 neat little box.

We have had it for 6 months or so and haven't had any problems at all.

Highly recommend it. :-) I like everything about it. It's easy to use and looks good. It seems to make a drone noise when in standby mode. Not sure if it's just ours or whether it is a common thing.
