Sony STRDH820

Fantastic unit just about child's play – I bought this receiver to replace an old Sony receiver where the middle channel dropped out. I use it everyday. I have Foxtel, Blueray and a playstation 3 connected directly to it via HDMI leads. It automatically detects which signal is coming in and switches over to it. I still have a spare HDMI in if needed. I can use the remote to control all my other Sony gear.

When setting up the surround sound you simply put the microphone in the centre of the room and let the unit calibrate it's self. Plenty of volume and so easy to use. Oh and before I forget the USB port at the front for the IPod is brilliant. You can control the iPod via remote control and play music for days. Fantastic! Fantastic sound! Nothing that I can think of.
