Sony TCM150

Not used in a while and still going strong – Purchased this years ago, like 8 years ago. Haven't used it much and it is still going strong. The playback control knob is probably not needed as I don't actually use it. I have an external microphone, so I use that with this recorder to record my voice notes on tape (I still have some tapes left), and the external mic input with the red band is of great help, along with the standard headphone jack and speaker.
Like many consumer grade products that have an onboard microphone attached, I don't use this due to the tinny sound quality of the microphones in general.
Overall, a good option if you don't want to go digital or are adamant to not go digital. Tapes have become retro, so I think I am going to hang on to this recorder for a while.
Excellent – First, it's a really affordable gadget, and considering that it's a Sony, the low price is a really big deal. I bought this to help me with some memorization of the lessons I've had, it really comes in handy especially during examination season. The records are clear, and it can go up to 20 hours (plus) of recording. It's really a savior. Easy to use.
