Unsure?! – Pretty disappointed in this computer... purchasing one for my son, this computer was suppose to have a long battery life including fast and quick pace (suppose to be in competition with a Macbook Pro) I have had this computer for a little while now and have seen the decrease in speed. I'm not sure if I was unlucky in the make but I'll definitely talk to someone who owns one before I purchase again.
Love it except the battery does not last too long – Love my vaio e series , however only lasts 1.5 hours on the road - I have purchased a car charger to keep me going however just thought I would warn people who travel that it takes a bit of juice Love it Just battery life
Excellent – A joy to use, especially if you type a lot. Excellent value for money, this is not a high end laptop but I struggle to think of an average user who would need more than this laptop has to offer. I'm a software engineer and web developer... I use this laptop for software development and image manipulation. It's beautiful, the keyboard is a joy to type on, it runs very nicely (using Vista at the moment)... I run SQL server, 2010 .NET development studio, photoshop, multiple web browsers all at the same time and it handles it very nicely. I got free 2Gb memory upgrade when I bought it so i'm running on 4Gb. Screen is sensitive to viewing angle and not great in sunlight which isn't a problem for me but those who want to sit in an outdoor cafe with it might be frustrated.
Excellent – Compact, good looking, stylish machine with all the necessary space and gadgets to get you going. You get the guarantee of owning a Sony, without the expensive price tag. Ahead of it's time with a 2.10GHz processor, 2GB memory and every Memory Stick slots. Comes with Windows Vista. Yet to fault it and recommend it to all! It is the best laptop I've ever had. I got the bronze one coz I wanted something bit more exciting then plain black. I know my stuff about laptops and this one has everything that you would want in a laptop. No extra unnecessary numeric pad of the side, great to touch, lightweight, reasonable inbuilt camera, funky shell. Enough memory, graphics and inclusions to get you started, room to install whatever else you may need. I don't play games, so not sure about it's graphics part, but I'm yet to fault it. Also very well priced for all the standard inclusions. Big thumbs up for the average user! I guess the speakers could be a bit stronger, to enhance things like 'youtube' videos. You need to spend a bit of time setting it up to your liking.
Good – I purchased my silver 15 inch screen laptop mainly for home use and so far have been very happy with it. When I purchased my laptop, it came bundled with an extra 2 GB of memory. (I choose this level of laptop, rather than a cheaper one, as I wanted it to be able to process database queries). It is a great looking laptop that meets my functional needs. Smooth, sophisticated look
Ergonomic keyboard
Good Processing speed
Additional Vaio software
Wide screen great for watching movies
Easy to use & already set up with main software
Free Windows upgrade (from Vista), when the next version is available Screen reflects light easily
Not suitable for high end games (This is not an issue for me, but may affect some people)
