Sony XDR-S16DBP

Fantastic – I originally bought a Sangean DAB radio but was so disappointed with the sound from its tiny speaker that i took it back. I made sure to listen to them all before making my next decision and deterermined that this Sony DAB sounded better then even the most expensive DAB radios in the store. Over the last year i have been really impressed with it. Weather its in the kitchen or outside while entertaining, the sound is really crisp and has loads of volume when needed. I am very impressed by the energy efficiancy. Running on 5 volts the radio uses 1watts at normal operation, and if you really crank it it jumps to 2 watts. This means you can leave it on all day without feeling guilty. Really energy efficiant (uses 1 watt). Looks great. No batteries even though it runs off only 5 volts. The select button is in a inconvenient location.

Good Radio – Bought this to replace a portable radio. This unit has a good appearance and good volume. It is easy to setup and easy to use. Overall this is a good product which is easy to use, has a bright led display, good volume and well priced for what the product does. Good overall package

Love it – Combines value for money quality and design all into a neat little package. Picks up great reception, the sound is great, the design is great, it's easy to use, it's easy to program, the LED display and time and date are cool. Access to new a great stations and makes static a thing of the past. Solid design, it's fallen off the desk at least 5x and it's still doing fine. sounds, quality, ease of use, speakers, design, usability, lcd screen, comfortable knobs, good lay out, easy power button. No USB, It's advised the AC adapter is disconnected for long periods of non-use.
