Steelcraft Ebony Reverse Handle

OK – This pram has served us well for the last 3 1/2 yrs, i used it for my first son and my second but have recently purchased a 3 wheeler so I can go on walks more easily. My babies always looked comfortable in them. The reversible handle is great so you are able to look at your baby, I used it this way while they were newborns. I also liked the clear window in the hood and lots bags could be hung on the handle e.g baby bag plus shopping bags, it never once tipped over. It lies fully flat which was great for the newborn stage. A couple of things I didnt like about it were sometimes when taking my baby for a walk, the pram would be on an angle when i was trying to go straight, if i tried to push it straight it would vear off to the left. Its okay to use for a casual stroll around the shops but trying to walk fast with it is hard, I couldn't push it with one hand at all. Another thing is when the back wheels are locked you cant reverse, I found this hard when going into a lift, to get the pram out I had to lift it from the back using the handle and steer it out that way, you also cant push on the handle to lift the pram up on the curb or through doorways.
Bad – A nice looking and comfortable pram but not very practical. It is just too hard to steer straight compared to a 3 wheel jogger. For my third baby I will use it again until she is sitting up and then switch to a jogger. The best thing was being able to see baby while walking and it was comfortable and snug for baby. I also had problems with manoeuvreability. When facing me it steered okay, but when turned around for an older baby/toddler it was impossible to keep straight no matter how you adjust the suspension. I gave up on using it when each of my boys were still quite young babies.
Excellent – I love this pram and even though it can be heavy to lift into the car i still find it very easy to use Easy to use, looks great, love the window in the top for when you dont face the baby, storage underneath and pockets up top. You can choose to lock wheels or have all four moveable. Takes up the whole of my boot (but i do have a small car) i find it a little heavy to lift into the car.
