Steelcraft Eclipse Reverse Handle

Middle of the road – This was the second pram I bought. I had a three wheeler but hated it. I've been using this one for about 7 months. There are things that I like about this pram and things that I don't. The good things include - the ability to reverse the handle and all the wheels so that your baby can see you or your baby doesn't have to look into the sun. It… Read more
has great storage. So many pockets and a huge space under the seat. It's easy to fold and not particularly heavy. It can be used with the capsule that fits in the car, so I wasn't waking my newborn up all the time and he was cocooned in snuggly.
The bad really just relates to its steering ability. To reverse you have to lift up the back wheels and if the terrain is bumpy it's quite hard to steer.
Even though it is lightweight, it is bulky. It takes up all the space in my 2014 Corolla Hatch's boot.
Really love this pram - will miss it!!! – The pram might not be excellent but is very good and multifunctional. The reason I bought it is because its 4 wheel (I hate ugly 3 wheel strollers that look like scooters) it`s reverse handled (not like in others you have to take the base off and turn it manually) it is light with circle pattern on it unlike the others boring black. There are 3… Read more
seat positions (not 2, like some people say) window to look at the child, mosquito net in front and behind, pocket, big covered net for you to but things under the stroller. The wheels are not too balky and "turnable" unlike most of European strollers have big "unturnable" wheels. I mean I am sooo happy that I made my choice on it. The only thing that would be good for improvement is the extended foot rest that can go up when toddler is sleeping.
I live in NZ but originally from Europe and in Europe you will see more bulky big wheel prams comparing to this comfortable one. I mean baby should be comfortable as well, not comfortable and compact for parents. I see a lot of parents who have small strollers that children barely fit in, half sleeping and half sitting i the stroller. It is just not right.
Depends on your personal preference – I love this stroller because 1. colour is practical 2. It's very padded and looks comfortable 3. The reverse handle 4. The wheels are great 5. It feels safe for my baby BUT I do however have a few concerns, I agree the wheels can sometimes be frustrating, especially when you turn the baby to face you the wheels wobble and it turns to one… Read more
side, you cant reverse the pram it simply won't do it. I'm annoyed everywhere describes the multiple level rest when it only has two. Straight up and flat which is annoying. I find it frustrating to fold the pram too as the instructions don't explain it properly. Finally the leg leveler doesn't even work on mine which frustrates me even more. Hope this helps. I know I have shown more disappointments then the love but I do really love this pram. Like my mum says your always going to get something wrong it can't always be perfect.
Looked good in the shop – I've had the same experience as others here - I bought this pram because I liked the reverse handle, and it's easy to fold down. It's also well padded and comfortable for baby. However, I wasn't even able to use it for the first 8 weeks after having my baby as it was too heavy to lift on my own. We've found that it steers quite poorly, and isn't… Read more
good in shopping centres with lots of obstacles to navigate. Because it's such a long pram, when the handle is in the reverse position it is nearly impossible to get enough leverage to get up a curb or even a small bump. One of the wheels is out of alignment meaning it pulls to the side, especially in the locked position. As someone else mentioned it's really hard to get into the storage basket with the seat in the reclined position.
I do like that it goes well over rough terrain, and the suspension in the wheels means that it the wheels can move around a lot to compensate for unsteady ground. It looks being sturdy enough to last a few years, and works quite well with the handles in the forward-facing position.
Worst – I decided on the stroller because it was easy to fold down by myself and had the reversible handle. Worst decision I ever made. It's so chunky and has no steering capabilities what so ever. I'm continually running into things or having the pram going to one side so it looks like a crab which puts my knee out. Please so not buy this you'll regret wasting your money. Easy to fold No steering, bulky
don't buy it terrible – I bought this pram new,and the wheel at back always came off, never turn on reserve side,I never use it once, just waste the money, don't buy this one at all, terrible pram , they are hard to fold and wheels are not balance , if you go forward the pram will turn other side, confirmed bad pram ever. not at all waste your money, wrong to buy.
Do not buy – This was the first pram I have brought, I was sold because of the reverse handle and how easy it is to fold. However it is hard to steer, it is a hunka chunka that hits everything, heavy to lift when folded and it also takes up alot of room when folded. The storage space underneath is very hard to acess. I do not reccomend this for anybody, find… Read more
an easy to steer and compact pram, there are plenty in this price range. It's comfortable for the baby and has a reverse handle. Everything, heavy, hard to steer, very chunky, takes up a lot of boot space
