Must have machine for summer treats and cocktails! Absolutely cannot live without thus little beauty! So so easy to use! Clean up is a dream. Excellent – i love this machine, i had purchased a blender that was supposed to be great for crushing ice to make cocktails however it didn't work. i went to the shops and found this fantastic little machine. don't waste your money on a blender just buy one of these instead two thumbs up. quick and easy to use, easy to clean, cheap to purchase, it won't break the bank, great gift for cocktail party's as well, high quality products. you may need to remember to frezze alot of ice cubes ahead of time if your planning to use it for a snow cone or cocktail party, as it does crush up the ice so small it can melt a little faster so you may need to use a bit more ice.

Brilliant! – It's a brilliant ice shaver. I've tried blenders (which break), manual ice crushers (ice not cut fine enough), snow cone machines (ice moulds are a hassle) and even a dodgy slushie machine (which uses more ice than it makes). The Avalanch cuts normal ice cubes quite finely into teeny tiny chunks - think slush puppy consistency - and is quick and easy. One ice cube tray will give you a decent sized cup of shavings. It's a little bit messy but hey, i can deal with a few drops of water on my bench. It's never goes in the cupboard because I use it numerous times every day and have also used frozen mojito rum mix cubes for cocktails - perfect! If you love icy drinks, get one - today! Reliable, quick, easy, uses normal ice cubes.

Very happy - does what it says – I've had trouble with food processors (even one with a special ice crushing blade) doing this job. The blades dent and sometimes break. This shaves ice well, though not as finely as snow cone ice. Good for both water ice and fruit juice ice.
