Good – Really suitable size for large or extended families. Love the easy release trigger along with the pouring lip. Elements provide even heating. I just love the embossed cooking surface,it is non stick and extremely easy to clean. I must say that I am very impressed so far with my purchase. I have a large family and the size is wonderful. The Platinum Pro non stick surface is fantastic. Everything (that I have cooked in it so far) has worked out well. Roast veges (potatoes, carrots etc)are exceptional, crisp and easy to look after. I would like a see through lid. The "other brand" Banquet frypans I have owned in the past had large glass lids which I liked.Only one of the lid holders work safely and you do have to be careful of a buildup of steam in the lid which can come out at you when turning food.

Terrible – Not impressed at all. It just doesnt stay hot once it starts to 'cook' something. Would not recommend at all. Im tempted to take mine back to the store and tell them where to put it. GRRR... Do not buy one! Im not sure if all the large rectangle shaped pans are the same but this one is a definite DUD in my opinion. Especially for the extra dollars spent. I dont feel i got a good deal at all. i like the size and the nonstick coating seems reasonably good it goes 'off heat' all the time and i have to keep turning it up to get it to cook something

Bad – I retired my old frypan because the heat control was lousy, I bought this one in the hope that Sunbeam would have got it right. Nope, not so. Frying up bacon and eggs this morning I was very dissapointed to see that even on heat setting 8, the food just about stalls to zero fry before the controller bothers to switch back on. Not a good effort Sunbeam! I liked the design, the size and depth of pan, easy quick release controller and pan from pan base. Heat control is bad.
