Still a good phone! – The Telstra smart touch still a good phone that i still use today with care. Still love the original longer battery life of this phone which is a bonus unlike the Samsung S3. The functionality of this phone is still quite good considering the apps like YouTube, google, messaging & play store still have the thumbs up & so will continue to use it well into the future.

Great but has one issue – Great phone even for its stats and price with good battery life and performance, not as good camera but thats ok. I do say it does have a issues with wifi tho as it will connect but after a while it will turn off the wifi and glitch and not turn it back off if you try I currently have one and had that issue, my grandma has it as well and had it a couple of times on hers but not sure if she does constantly as she never uses the wifi. Does anyone else get that issue at all? Good performance for its price $99 and what you get and from the phone Problems with the wifi

To add to this I really wouldn't recommend the phone with all its issues

Get What You Pay For – I needed a second phone and these were on special at AustPost as prepaid - I just transferred my SIM. I wrongly assumed that smart phones were all much the same. Having loved my HTC (apart from the feeling of my brain slowly cooking) the Smart Touch is a massive let down. Impossible to navigate (who uses a stylus these days?) always making the wrong selection. You have to use said stylus to avoid going crazy!

Phone will be recycled as soon as I can replace it!

Oh, forgot to mention the constant restarting - the solution given by customer service was to disable the pin code so atleast it logs straight in when it does restart! Cheap, 3G Unreliable, hard to navigate, too small to type without stylus

The worst phone I have ever owned! – This phone has been a nightmare since day one. It is frustrating to use, faulty, and has poor quality sound and photos. My advice- do NOT buy this phone. It's the worst one I have ever had the misfortune to use, and after 8 months of struggling I will be buying something else as I can't stand this any longer. Generally difficult to use. Typing texts is laborious, as the letters on the keyboard often only respond to heavy pressure. It has turned itself off regularly since day one, and when I tried to return it as faulty was to they would not repair or replace under warranty. Photo quality is really poor., as is the sound quality for users on both ends of the call.

That happened when I went to return it also because apparently it had water damage even though it had never been near water.

Awesome phone ! – The Telstra Smart-Touch is an awesome phone that I cant live without. It was only $79 and came with $50 credit. It comes in two colours, either black, or purple. It also comes with a stylus which makes it really easy to use the touch screen. Most of the apps from the market are free and really good. You also get free calls after 6pm. It works really fast and charges really fast as well. You can type on the abc keyboard or the qwerty. Overall this is a really good phone and I would definitely recommend it. Inexpensive, reliable, very fast to charge and work, most apps are free
