Excellent – Would like more on portion sizes as i tend to overdo the nuts. I miss my daily cereals but then again I did tend to overdo the portion sizes. I like to think of it as a life eating plan Easy to understand and follow. I was told it was hard to use when eating out but i have not found that to be so. None so far

Excellent – When I saw Karl Stefanovic do a slightly amended version of this diet on the "Today" program, I thought it was a diet that would be way too hard to follow. However, as a result of Karl's success on the diet, I bought the book (even then somewhat reluctantly)and read it...and it made a lot of sense to me. I am now in the 3rd week of the diet and I have found it a lot easier to stick to than other diets I have tried (e.g. CSIRO, Weight Watchers)...and I feel really good. The diet really makes you think about all the junk we are putting into our bodies and, although the diet itself is only for 91 days, I really believe my eating habits will change long term as a result of what is in this book, i.e. I will be eating a lot more fish, fruit and vegetables and a lot less processed junk. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED The simplicity of Dr John's approach to food; the fact there is also an exercise program as well as an emphasis on attitude and coping skills; the fact that Dr John's soup and minestrone can be bought from the supermarket. For me personally, it could give a bit more information on portion sizes (particularly with the Fail Safe Snacks).

Excellent – I agree with Dr John on saying if you didnt eat the crap in the first place you wouldnt feel as crappy for the first 5-10 days. You should be able to manage your own eating regime after the 91 days. Its not that hard. I like the fact he uses all veggies and fruit. I am sick of the low GI dont eat this, dont eat that. I love a variety of food and that is exactly what you get on this diet. It is uncomplicated, especially the recipes. I love it and I think we should all give it a go. You find yourself with more energy and after a while you dont want the fattening, junky foods. I have polycystic ovarian syndrome and IBS and this diet has actually improved my symptoms. The exercies are good to do and arent strenuous to do. Give it a go, what have you got to lose except the weight!! Easy to do. Lots of fruit, veggies and seafood. Lose weight without all the expense of diet pills, programes, meal replacements etc. Its affordable and not unrealistic. No Coke!! The headaches the first few days while your body detoxes was quite hard. Though, this wont happen to everyone. It depends on how much your body needs to detox!

fantastic – i love this way of eating it's what my parents, grandparents and so on did and they're still doing it today. keep it simple and un-interfered with. the comment made by someone that Dr John hadn't explained why the Italians etc can eat pasta and red wine and not get the illnesses or diseases that most westerns do, well all i can say is they must not have read the recipes book or the Great Australian diet book properly. because it explains that its the type of pasta etc that they eat. well done Dr John.

i hope someone will hop on the band wagon and really get behind this as it's in all our interested to do the best for our bodies.

why not give it a go and believe me it's worth it. the only reason people wouldn't give it a go is because it seems too easy fantastic for everyone. give it a go you wont be disappointed i havent found any. 10 out of 10

Terrible – i would tend to say no to this form of dieting because it does not prepare you for the years ahead any diet has the ability to lose initial weight loss within the first three months and this is no different our bodies tend to cleanse during this time with change in eating behaviours it only is for 91 days and then what there is no proper eating regime set for the rest of your life

I have yet to try this diet but I was just reading all the other comments which seem to be all positive except for this one above mine and I think that this diet helps you obtain a healthy eating lifestyle/healthy(ier) weight (for 91 days). Within those 91 days you are learning how to better your dieting habits. Meaning.... if you don't know how to keep a healthy diet after 2 months then you really shouldn't be worried about dieting. Obvious you are not going to keep these healthy habits by learning how to diet from this or any other diet....
