If I would have known how bad the service provided yesterday was for the Corporate hamper I ordered for a special occasion, I would have purchased off a proper well-run business. would resend it and refund my express delivery fee (which is the bare minimum imho). I had expected that they would give me a voucher or add a few items to the hamper. They might have nice things but I wouldn’t know yet. I now have to face the embarrassing task of explaining that I hadn’t forgotten a significant birthday but that i was let down by the company I had trusted to do their job.

Ordered other hampers never had a problem BUT you really need to be mindful that what is on website is not always accurate. I ordered the Penfold Hamper clearly stating 5 individual items ….this was not the case my friend only received 4 individual items shame…. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! After 10 days this company still cannot find my order and will not do anything to replace it or find it. I just hope I get the refund in less time it takes to have the order delivered. Disgraceful customer service. Show details

 Follow-up  · The refund process was again disgraceful. I was forced to ring 3 separate times pleading for my refund which took just as long as the product delivery itself. If you could Google review, they would be worse. Stay away!

person as it was written wrong on the package as receiver returned the package Asked them to send another one as the order was getting returned to them and it was caused by their blinder mistake all they said they can’t do anything about it even after knowing their mistake seems like even the manager didn’t have any customer care attitude

This disgusting company were contracted to deliver an item to an office in a commercial building in South Yarra. Rather than enter the building and access the offices of the commercial business where the intended recipient was employed, they dumped the item at the main entrance or at the lift well in the foyer. Be warned they will take no responsibility for failure to deliver at item as instructed.

Why have a section for delivery if you don’t read it. Asked for delivery from 12th January when office reopens and Australia Post is delivering today 30th December. Had issues with your delivery before Poor service

two weeks before Xmas, I specified the delivery time of 8 - 4.30. When I checked during the day to see how delivery was going, on the delivery link they posted it was scheduled to be delivered at 6.20 pm ….. to an office building on a Friday night a couple of weeks before Xmas!!! Realising this won’t work because the office will be shut and my wife won't be there, I rang Hamper Emporium office and told them I specified office hour delivery, which the said ‘yes I see that’ so I told them they need to contact the delivery company and get them to deliver before 4.30, when my wife was due to leave the office. After being put on hold for a couple of minutes, they came back on the phone and said ‘It’s already in the delivery truck so we can’t get hold of them’. I was shocked because everyone has a mobile phone, and surely someone can ring the driver and get him to drop it off before my wife left work. But no, this could not be done. When I asked what the driver will do if there is no one there, she said she doesn’t know if he will take it somewhere or leave it outside. I told her if it was left outside and it went missing, they would be refunding me. They then told me it was no longer their responsibility when it is handed to the delivery company and if it went missing I was to take it up with the delivery company…….. I was absolutely shocked that they would say this, but now I look back on some of the other reviews, I’m not surprised. I made sure all of these comments/complaints were also recorded via email, and while I didn’t get an email or contact over the weekend telling me what was happening with the hamper, I did get a reply first thing Monday morning. There was an apology for failure to deliver the Friday, a refund of the shipping fee, and advice it would be delivered on Monday……but as I expected, it didn’t turn up then either! Another email apology came and eventually the hamper arrived, albeit 4 days late, but this wasn’t the end of the drama. My wife thanked me and sent me a photo of it, and it was obvious they had sent the wrong hamper. No Moet and no glasses, so another email to them requesting a complete refund. This happened quite quickly, but I have to say this is one of the most disappointing online purchases I have ever had, and it’s not just hamper emporium. The delivery company (HDS) also needs criticism. How on earth someone thinks it is a good idea to deliver something to an office building at 6.20 pm on a Friday night, especially when delivery request is between 8-4.30, just beggars belief. Then to not be able to contact them on the road so things can be changed is even more ridiculous, especially when the minute it was delivered they posted photos of it being delivered….… Except for the full refund (which was processed very quickly) and the woman that I dealt with via email being very polite and helpful, this Hamper Emporium purchase was a disaster from start to finish. The only piece of advice I would give people considering using this company is DON’T. Go somewhere else.

Was told that to deliver on a specific weekday is $16-95 extra which I paid. It was not delivered 19/12 and today 20/12, still awaiting delivery. Emails/live chat to follow up today has been useless. Have used in the past and have been good in precious years for our corporate gifting. I love these hampers, I’ve sent 2. They are filled with fantastic South Australian produce, & being South Aussie myself, I can’t believe that I’ve discovered these great hampers! The fantastic variety of products plus free postage makes them incredibly affordable. Not only did the order fail to arrive on time for a very special occasion, but the lack of communication and follow-up caused significant frustration. A simple apology is not sufficient under these circumstances. Regrettably, based on this experience, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this company to others.

2nd time I've had issues. Ordered my wife's birthday hamper days in advance. On the day I didn't even get a notification that it was delayed until after the weekend. Called up (horrible phone recording) and was told they had troubles with their courier partner. Refund is pending but its the second time I've had issues and the courier always delivers very late in the day. Avoid if you can.
