Toshiba EL800A Series

Buy something else for a few bucks more – I was impressed with the video engine which generated motion and still pictures that were as good as each other. But getting it home and I'm immediately struck by the terrible audio - my laptop PC sound is better - which is like listening down a tube. Then there's the lack of brightness compounded by backlight bleed-thru when you turn it up. Frankly for $370 I would rather have spent $40 more for a real TV. cheap for a 'brand' name terrible sound, dull picture
