Toshiba 52HM84

OK – Besides the Lamp problem which seems to be inherent with this TV as you can see from above and all the posts. Toshiba should be made to correct this problem at there expense maybe we should all contact a consumer group and see if we can do this maybe the simple addition of a low powered fan in the area of the lamp to keep it cool would resolve this Great Picture and sound Like everyone else the problem is the lamp Toshiba should replace the lamps for free to have a lamp go every year and spend another $180.00 for a new lamp in 10 years you would have paid enough to have bought a new more reliable tv as far as the lamp goes. I bought the TV in April 05 and have replaced the lamp for times already and now the day before Christmas it went again and it's a week before I can get another one
