Reliable TV, good picture (but need amp+speakers for good sound) – We've had our Toshiba 32 inch TV now for years, perhaps for six or more years, and it's been a gem. The remote is easy to use, and still works well after all of this time. Like many digital TVs, the built in sound with the tv is poor, but an inexpensive amplifier and good speakers solve this problem. I would purchase a Toshiba to again.

Good picture but very poor sound quality – Bought this television from The Good Guys for $475 in March 2011. Easy to set up and use with a good remote control. Picture quality is good but sound quality through the built in speakers was very poor. Have since connected the tv through an audio system to improve the sound. Has been reliable so far. Good value, easy to use and reliable Very poor sound quality

Good – For the price, this Toshy is great value and does most of what 95% would ask from a TV set. It seems solidly built but does lack some of the features of higher end models. The Digital Audio output is only 2 channel, but given that 99% of programs are only in this format, that's no great loss. I got a good deal from the Good Guys with extended warranty. Solid picture quality with excellent black levels, colors, and minimal banding. Better than average connectivity. Brilliant resolution. Reliable so far. Good tuner. Audio quality from built in speakers is rubbish, only outputs 2 channels on SPDIF, 50Hz refresh rate (thus judder on some Blu-ray scenes), no S-video input. Could be brighter.
