Toshiba Satellite Pro S200

Excellent – Quality seems to be really good, keyboard is a decent size and fairly well set out. Speakers are a little bit tinny so if you were wanting it as part of a home media system, you'd definitely need extra speakers. Also, the power settings can be a bit confusing, I still haven't figured out how to get it to hibernate properly (it turns itself back on after a few minutes).

Overall, great product. Good price, great quality laptop Possibly my only complaint is the gloss finish, it shows smudges and fingerprints very clearly.

A matt finish probably would've been a better choice.

Excellent – An ideal computer for both personal use and business. It is an economical approach to buying a high perfomance computer for everyday use and entertainment. I would highly recommend Toshiba S200 to an amateur user or a student. The performance is great, I like the lcd display and the graphics part of it as a personal or home user. Toshiba utilities enhance the functionality which makes it an ideal instrument for use. I would see it as an ideal computer for home, entertainment and business.

Though the following are not preinstalled: accupoint control buttons, fingerprint sensors, iLINK (IEEE1394) port, for instance, I find it the most economical approach for me cause I don't need all these for a start.

Furthermore, after almost 2 years, my hardwares are still vibrant and in good condition despite few crashes due to virus activity recently. I don't see any reason why I should dislike it, but just that in those crash instances, tried to contact toshiba for a redownload on utilities (vista compatible) the website was reported closed...I wouldn't blame myself really cause one of my recovery disks after a few install couldn't work anymore.

The geometric appearance looks too simple. Can there be a little bit more breathtaking one?
