Uniden DECT 1535

Very Basic – (Uniden 1535) This phone model is very basic . Also there is no blocking features so you cannot block incoming spam calls especially these days there are too many of them!! Can't see what the problem is with the negative reviews – Got my DECT 1535 6.0 as a gift. Don't imagine it was particularly expensive but it replaced an old similar hands-free cordless system. This is much better. I miss the base having a microphone / speaker but the handsets work OK anyway.

UNIDEN DEct 1335 – Did not cost that much but I found the instructions for setting could have much better. I was also disappointed with the call length, because I am hard of hearing it was fine but after 30 minutes in the call the sound reduced significantly lower. Somebody has already mentioned this. Worst Phone ive ever bought – Nothing positive about this phone. Calls drop, cant make calls, terrible sound both through external hands free speaker and through ear piece. All 3 handsets are the same, absolute rubbish. The only positive would be the answering machine does work. I cant believe Uniden could manufacture such a poor quality phone. Answering machine, Buttons. Build quality Worst sound quality and connectivity ever. No one can even hear me.

Off to get another phone after 6mths ive had enough and it wont be Uniden! – Waste of $99 brought mine at harvey norman ... Mine drops out without reason, takes forever too dial, speakers not good quality, sometimes decided not too have a ring tone dialing out and very embarrassing when the other person takes forever too pick up ... Also randomly just start ringing then i pick it up and it has a loud scratchy sound on other end , people call it then call my mobile and say they can never get through ... Very Unhappy ... the simple screen and big buttons, very bright, inexpensive sound and qualtiy was very cheap and nasty

Fading audio on DECT 1535 + 2 – This phone was bought in October 2012 after I had foot surgery and couldn't easily get to a phone. instruction book says if this happens the signal may be blocked by large metal objects or walls and suggests trying to move around or move closer to the base. Pretty useless for me when I was unable to walk. I wasn't using a handset very far from the base which was in the next room. If walls are a problem this product is useless. I am not sure what they mean by large metal objects. A fridge?

I contacted the manufacturer and they told me the signal is tested when the base is in line of sight of the handset. So if you have walls or large metal object in between the signal strength will lessen. Easy to set up Weak hard to hear audio away from base.

Great reception – Hands Free Phone bought for my 84 year old Mother very easy to hold and see the numbers simple to use finally she can operate a hands free appliance all of the above
