  9035 + 1

15 years reliable – Bought in 2009 and it's still going 15 years later! Good: - Looks nice. - Easy to use. - Reliable! Bad: - Expensive at the time. - Range isn't the best. - Colour screen is a bit of a gimmick. - Mic quality is a bit inconsistent between handsets. - Phone book doesn't automatically sync between handsets. - Replacement batteries are a bit expensive. Show details ·  2

Uniden Elite 9035 + 1 "Nope" Back To Panasonic For Me ! – This Model Started off Ok , But a Back Ground hiss was always noticeable in the phone close to the base or from a few metre's away. But after 6 months the Battery stopped charging properly & from there it all went down hill ! I replaced 2 hand sets both Batteries at $30 each and within a couple of months both hand sets would not charge or hold… Read more

power in phones for more than a few minutes, It is not worth me Returning or Repairing $100 Phone. So Sorry Uniden 9035 + 1 , I'm Going back to Panasonic To My New Cordless Phone With Smartphone Connectivity (Panasonic DECT KX-PRW120AZW) wish I had never changed Brands.....

It's OK..... but that's about it – We have had the 9035 +2 system for the last 6 years. Firstly let me say that the call quality and range are fine. I have had quite a few different models of cordless phone in my life and the performance of these unidens is above average. However, I wouldn't buy again due to a number of other issues. Screens going either completely blank or… Read more

just a block of colour - either way you can't read it. Illumination of the keypad doesn't include every button which is pretty pointless. Not the easiest of units to learn and use. Range and clarity. Earpiece/headset socket on the side of the handset for hands-free use. Different ringer for each handset available. Screen quality, illumination.

Only works sometimes othertimes dreadful – Bought the +1 model to replace aging uniden model which had worked brilliantly so must be a good idea ...unfortunately has had issue of echo and broken sound from day one. Tried every option spoken of to fix problem but to no avail. The only way i could describe it is - Crap. You pay for many features its a great looking phone but its a lottery… Read more

if you or whoever's on the other end can hear you properly. You can stand a metre away from the base and wont work then move half a metre one way and all of a sudden fine but no matter where you put the base or handset problem always there.

Go with Panasonic never had an issue and the company seems to stand behind their product this one is an absolute waste of money and a bucket of frustration. Looks great and fits well in your hand Terrible phone and even worse it was ever introduced

Good cordless phone – I am genuinely surprised by the bad reviews here for this product. We have had a set of three of these phones (with answerphone) for about 5 years and they have been excellent. Range has never been a problem, voice clarity is great and is better than our previous corded and cordless phones. Have never had the echo problem reported by others. … Read more

We replaced all the batteries at about the 3 year mark when the standby time became too short. This is happening again now and because the handsets have thrown the odd wobbly lately ('disconnecting' from the base, resetting etc) we intend to replace them. They have had a relatively hard life with young kids, getting dropped etc so I am happy with the life of the phones achieved thus far.

I'd buy another Uniden Elite if they didn't look almost exactly the same as the one we bought 5 years ago. Good reliable, clear phone. All you could want.

Not a bad product slightly expensive – Ok I have read the reviews most being negative about echo I have not had that experience or if I have it hasn't been bad enough to make me want to vent a torrent of abuse. I purchased it at a harvey noman after taking back a really cheap [censored word removed] handset for $20 please don't fall for those too good to be true deals. I have found… Read more

it to be pretty good you can intercom between the units I have two units and a base station answering machine. You can transfer contacts from one phone to the other you can change the ring tone and colour of the display depending on who is calling. The big problem is the battery life after a few years the device drops out and has the registering message on the screen.

So if you have that issue try replacing the batteries but you know I think that is like most electrical devices really. Dick smith stocks replacement batteries $20 each [url removed] try using these CTB96 type of batteries I have read they are made from a different manufacturer sony or sanyo and they last longer.

Answering machine works well enabled me to switch off voice mail from telstra you will save a few bucks there and more than a few minutes calling up to get your messages. And you can listen to your messages from the phone without having to push the button on the answering machine unit. It works with my iinet boblite modem router for Voip so im saving money there. The handset is comfortable against your ear it has a belt clip and there are some new ones out that have some sort of blue tooth functionality. I have about 5 laptops multiple wireless signals and have no issue with interferance even though it has been sitting right next to the routers both my old dlink and my new boblite so no issues.

I would buy it again if I had my choice again but maybe the new unit with the blue tooth Comfortable to hold against your ear. Buttons are comfortable to press functions of the phone numerous Battery life after a few years short call times drop outs need to replace it with a better quality battery a CTB96 type for better life

Don't waste your precious money on rubbish like this – The echo problem was evident from day 1. After repeated calls to the service department they replaced the two sets with ones they stated would fix the problem. The solution was marginally better. The screen display goes very dull, almost faded away. Remote handset now seaches for base station multiple times per day, no idea why it drops out. … Read more

Good – We bought this as it had the option of having the base set and an additional 2 handsets and bases. It meant that our whole house had a phone within easy reach. We've had a great experience with the Uniden phone since we bought it 18 months ago. Call quality is good and the answering maching is very easy to use. It's quite an expensive setup… Read more

but they are often up to 30% off in department store sales. Sleek looking handsets, easy to use, great range, good audio quality, digital answering maching, can buy with 2 extra handsets and bases, easy to use menu to select preferences, expensive, long battery life for handsets, detailed instructions Nothing we've experienced.

Uniden ELITE 9035 – I purchased this phone from Harvey Norman. I hated it from day one. The echo is a big problem. You would think a company as big as Uniden would have fixed this problem before it went on the market. I tried to get a refund and exchange it for another brand but I was told by the technical man at Harvey Norman there was nothing wrong with it. I also… Read more

went to the uniden site and put my complaint in and left my email address. No reply. I plan on giving it to a charity shop and buying a Panasonic but not from Harvey Norman. Easy to setup Horroble voice echo

Terrible – Do not buy this phone. There are too many reports of this "echo" problem from other users. I will eventually have to replace mine. Looks nice, that's about it. Terrible echo of your voice makes having a conversation very unpleasant. Turning the Audio Tone to Low helps a bit, but does not fix the problem. Plus both handsets "forget" this… Read more

setting after a while and revert to Natural Tone. Turning the mains power off to the base station seems to temporarily fix the problem, but it always recurs when a message is left on the answering machine. Bing Lee (who sold me the phone) refuse to exchange it or give me a refund and Uniden Technical Support were unhelpful. They basically said there was nothing wrong with the phone, but I could mail it to them at my expense and they would return it when they could not fault it.

Terrible – Do NOT buy this phone. It was not a cheap purchase, indeed one of the more expensive being offered but thought it seemed good quality. WRONG. effort from any manufacturer and i am just kicking myself that I didn't take it straight back and am now stuck with this POS! Looks attractive Feel is terrible, poor selection or ring tones taken straight from a 1979 kid's toy, bizarre software. Range in absolutely miserable, can't even make it reliably around a small 2 story house. But worst of all is the lousy audio quality, a large amount of background noise, like a very noisy phone line

Bad – Bought this phone as I believed Uniden would be a great quality, reliable phone. I was sadly wrong. Bad – We bought these thinking we were getting a really good quality product, but that wasn't exactly the case. Terrible – This phone replaced another uniden 2.4GHz, which was very good. Worst decision I have ever made. A piece of proverbial. Visually pleasing and small ECHO!!!!, poor range and extremely poor fidelity. Regardless of where it is placed, both the base and extra handset, the range and fidelity issues have not been able to be resolved. The echo comes and goes, ranging from irritating to unusable.
