Uniden SS E15

Good – One of the best phone on market for the very senior who are hearing and sight impaired. Very effective audio & visuals with good strong speakerphone sound quality and generous lightup panel when ringing. Ease of dialling with large buttons. Uniden SSE 27+1 (Base + 1 handset) - Reasonably priced due to recent A$ strength. Has intercom / find missing handset function. Great packaging, concept and bought it on the strength of the list of functions. Good sound quality & speakerphone. Chunky. Touch buttons not as "definitive" to the touch - most phones click to touch or beeps definitively when pressed - in this case the button roles around silently and when pressing fast, one can not know if the dial is registered or not. Menu functions/ fast dial fidely & unwieldy, not the most intuitive to use. Electronic voice was poor offputting and has poor diction & pronounciation.
Excellent – Phone has lasted ages, the battery life is amazing (and it seems to charge quite quickly) and to date, the battery has never died. The handset is a little chunky and takes a bit of getting used to. Never had any problems with it, Uniden seems to make decent quality phones (I've had a couple, all have died of extremely old age) so I'd certainly recommend the brand. Quite cheap, excellent quality. Features are fairly easy to figure out.
Battery life is also very good. A little bit heavy and uncomfortable to hold for very long due to size.

To answer Mark Kelloway's Q - NO This phone does not require Wifi and cannot be connected that way. The only way is to plug it in as a normal Telstra phone would be. Hope this answers your Q. Sorry, didn't reply using buttons as wasn't sure if it was spamware with trojans.
