Excellent – Good Unit!!! 300 channels, not that you use them all but it's great if your into planes! Also, listen into what the police are doing at night!!! Easy to use! Interesting what you can do with it I've had mine for about 3 years and i'm having a few reception issues. Otherwise, great buy!

Good – Good scanner for the first time user understanding trunk scanning.Has long battery life for portable operations.Buttons spaced evenly apart for those with big fingers. Very clear audio on 800mhz trunking.Has data port to log talkgroups using 3rd party software. Display is not very large so limited on what information can be displayed at any one time.Programming instructions could be explained easier.No software from Uniden to program scanner from computer.
