Uniden WDECT

Excellent – Good value phone that looks great. Having three handsets is fabulous, as well as the built in answering machine and speaker phone. Sound quality is always great and the reception is good enough to let me walk down our driveway (rear house)to check the letterbox while I am on the phone! Three handsets, built in answering machine, comfortable handsets with good reception.

Excellent – Had this set for about 5 years and it hasnt let me down. I am finally after 5 years up for new batteries as they do not last long at all. I was able to order these batteries off ebay for a couple of dollars each. They say you should replace your battery every 2 years but our lasted 5 years! The answering machine has plenty of options including programming your own voice or choose one of the generics. Overall great product, have tried other cordless phone brands and they have let me down. Uniden are the No.1 Cordless home phone brand of my choice. Good – Obtained to replace Uniden Elite 9035 which had an unacceptable echo of own voice in earpiece and a non-functioning speakerphone (seems most of this model have this fault). No problems like this with new phone and now have three handpieces for the same price of two with the other model. Works well with handy speakerphone on base. Screen colour & size of text hard to read for an older pair of eyes.

Good – Very good phone. I haven't had any problems with the units (you get an additional handset!) never had problems with interference and I have lived in several locations including a multicomplex of apartments. Mostly easy to use and although I didn't want to buy a uniden (as I assumed Panasonic was better) I was glad I did. This is a great cordless phone and had everything I needed in one unit - built in answering machine, Caller ID, Caller ring tones, Phone number storage, Do not disturb (that's great when you know your mum's going to call)Handset speaker - did someone call whilst you are cooking dinner or building that model airplane? No problem just hit the speaker button! Well I am really digging but ... I would have liked a better background colour than orange ... and more ring tones would have been good.
