Convenient – Not as good as the baby jogger double but went with this pram as I could attach another toddler seat and push three of my children it was a struggle to find a reasonable price side by side with attachment seat, very convenient big basket and roomy well priced Good Tyers
Independence lifesaver – I have this pram with the toddler seat, as there was (almost!) two years between my first and the twins. Having this pram allowed me to be independent and go out on my own (quite a feat with young twins, haha) The pram is super easy to push, I was even able to navigate it single handed when I had to through a shopping centre with twins and… Read more
toddler in it. It "turns on a dime" and gets through basically every doorway I have attempted - it actually isn't as wide as it looks when it comes to doors!
It is very comfy for newborns, especially with the headrests that can be removed later. I love the safe and secure Valco buckles, and the sunhoods provide excellent sun protection, as Valco prams do! The basket is an excellent size, and we can take this pram anywhere.
We live in the hills so we needed something that would take gravel and rough terrain in it's stride, and it certainly does, without compromising on 'city' surfaces. Love the pockets on the back of each seat, and the toddler seat was also great for protecting newbies from being woken and poked by every passer by ;) allowing me to get through the shops a bit quicker! Adjustable handle perfect for my 6'3" hubby as well as shorty me.
The weight and size is proportional to the capabilities of the pram (off-road, able to support up to 4 children, etc) and to be expected. Comparable prams of the same calibre. Very happy with this purchase. Can't say enough that it has seriously been a lifesaver. Owned for 10 months, and know it's not going to be a problem steering with toddler twins. Oh, and good looking too! Sunshade, option of toddler seat, storage basket, all terrain, storage pockets, exceptional steering and dream to push Weight if you don't need the off-road features and extra seat/s.
Excellent – The only pram to have if you have twins and a toddler. If you have to walk anywhere there is NOT a footpath then this is the pram to have. So so easy to push, I know several other twin mums who have this pram and love it. Make sure you have the boot space. Easy to push, even with the toddler seat, thanks to the large tyres (not many twin prams… Read more
have those). Sturdy, fits through standard doorways. Wheels come off easy if you need to get it into the boot. Pneumatic tyres go flat if you go offroad into big prickles! Filled mine with that green goo stuff, now it's not a problem. Although you can get all rubber tyres for these so they will never go flat.
This pram was a LIFESAVER – I used this pram with the toddler seat for my 2 year old when my twins were born. It allowed us to get out and about with ease, and I could keep my two year old under control. It is very easy to push, it just glides along. Very comfy for babies. I am still using it daily with 10 month twins and an almost 3 year old. Great for the outdoors and… Read more
walking along streets and offroad. Highly recommended. Takes twins and a toddler with comfort, easy to push, lots of great pockets and a big basket underneath. Sunshade is great. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Worth every penny. Heavy and bulky when folded, but once I got the hang of it it was OK.
This was a life saver! – We got the Vaclo Twin Runabout Trimode when we had our twins and also a 18month old Daughter, so this pram really was a life saver, it meant i could go out on my own with the 3 kids, have them all in the one pram, i also loved the fact they all had their own hood over each seat, i could fit in any door ways, i had a VT commodore witch fit in my… Read more
boot fine with some room for other things like nappy bags and shopping. Took from new born, twins could go in with out any problems and also have my 18 month old daughter, i used this until my twins turned 3 and daughter 4 and carried them fine in the pram. fits in 99.9% of door ways i loved this pram, Was a little hard to set up n fold down at the start but after a few goes you become a pro! with everyone saying that it is heavy, yes its 18gs but what else would you want if its to carry 3 babies/kids? the under basket isn't very useful, but i had a mummy hook so that's how i got around it n used the hoods to put things on.
Good – This pram is excellent if you have three little ones to get around with. We had a 2 and 3 year old when our baby came along and would've been okay with a single pram with toddler seat but have found days when we needed to get all 3 in the pram so don't regret it. It's easier to manoevure with one hand than a single three wheeler and is heaven to… Read more
push over rough ground when there is no cement footpath. It is very heavy and difficult to fold and unfold until you get the hang of it. It fits through our standard sized front door yet still has plenty of room in the seats for the children to sit comfortably. We were very unhappy that the base of the basket split within the warranty period but Valco replaced it. It is a good sized basket but things have to pass through a small gap to be put in it. Apart from the basket splitting and basket access limited it is a good, strong and durable pram. Slim for a double pram (can fit through a standard front door) yet plenty of room for children in their seats. Easy manoeuvrings with one hand and very easy when off road. heavy (20kgs+ with toddler seat attached) Takes up most of a large car boot. Basket base split within warranty period but was replaced by Valco.
Excellent – Very happy to have purchased the pram, would recommend it to anyone wanting a side by side. love how you can put the seat back in any position you want, to suit your child. like that it comes with both sun and rain cover and pump, kids love being in it, easy for 6 yo to manouvre, comfortable. easily accomodates 2-3 children, bought for a newborn… Read more
and 2yo, takes up to 22kg per seat, easy to manouvre, great all terrain, purchased after finding it to be the best side by side on the market for the price, didn't want a front and back double [safety issue] or a phil and ted [child at ground, shopping bag, knee height], valco is a known name in prams, i got good service from valco [through baby store] when the bolt in the front wheel needed replacing they replaced the whole wheel with fast service. easy clean, easy adjustments, comes with all the bells and whistles, easy adjusting of seatback to absolutely any position, can attach a toddler seat to the front, loads of storage space, versatile storage [can unzip storage bags on back to take with you], easy to add and remove wheels, easy to lock and unlock front swivel wheels, height adjustable handle, comfortable seats, strap covers, head hugger, bottom strap goes through loop in seat to put it closer to between childs legs. everything is securely attached with clips and straps. good hood coverage, great looking pram. takes a few goes before you get used to how to open and close it [more about your position]. one of the bigger side by sides on the market [though the back wheels are kept within pram dimensions] limits going into small shops, 6yo upset that valco skateboard didn't fit on the back.
It did the job – I don't have twins but I have a very small older child who is unable to walk long distances due to medical problems, and needed a pram for her and our newborn. We where given our twin jogger by a friend as I couldn't afford to buy a pram new that would suit both our girls. I have been using it now for four weeks and it does the job. Comfortable… Read more
for bubs easy to push over rough footpaths. Extremely heavy to lift in and out of the car, I have to remove all four wheels to fit in my boot I don't drive a small car either. I find it hard to fold and I having trouble stirring it around in shops I always clip something or knock into shop clothing racks.
Excellent – When I went shopping for a new pram I knew I wanted a side by side double that I could use to walk the dog. I am so glad that I came across the trimode twin ex. I LOVE this pram. It gets used everyday and gets a real workout. I attach the dog's lead to it when we walk/run and sometimes he tries to go off in a different direction but the pram is… Read more
so stable. I never fear the pram tipping over. It copes well with my rough handling as we manouvere from footpaths to the road and even the rocky ground at the dog park. A real plus is that it fits into the boot of my Kia Rio. It is a little heavy to lift in but, with the wheels off, it does fit!!
I could easily rave on about the pros of this pram but as they're listed above I'll leave it at that. This pram is fantastic! So easy to manouvere!
Separate sun hoods!
Adjustable handle!
Large basket underneath and four other pockets!
Fits into the boot of my small hatchback! (with rear wheels removed) Seat seems to tilt into the centre so baby's head would always end up against the centre post. Not a problem as they get older and to be honest it didn't seem to bother the baby much either.
Excellent – We purchased this twin stroller for our twin boys in January 2009. The initial reason for purchase was the narrow size. The stroller can fit through our foyer front door and apartment front door and with twin babies we found this paramount. Many other prams do not. And carrying two large boys on your own is not an option. It also allows two… Read more
newborns in a flat position as with many prams the child needs to at least 6mths old.
The twin stroller also came with a lot of free additional extras, such as sun cover and front bar, unlike the Mountain buggy that charges a lot for these extras. We also purchased the rain cover which has been an excellent extra. During winter we received as a gift some foot muffs which were really great to keep our babies warm and a good option to have. There is also a reasonable amount of storage for shopping underneath
In terms of use we have found the twin stroller to be fantastic and compared to our friends who also have twins quite sturdy, reliable and easy to use. The main downside is the weight and size. If you can cope with lifting the pram into your car then this pram is great! It took a while to get used to folding it up, but once you get the knack it isn’t too bad. The stroller has suspension on the back which is beneficial if you plan to take your kids on walks, plus the inflatable wheels also add to a smoother ride. I do a lot of running and this pram has never been a problem even for someone 6” 1’ that runs at ~14-15km/h. Ease of use, width, suspension and functionality Weight
Excellent – I loved this pram heaps, I should have never gotten rid of mine. If anyone in Perth has one they are wanting to sell let me know. This pram was excellent for walking, even though it may be heavy to push once the children are in their, it is hard to tell you are pushing around a lot of weight. I loved the fact that the seats and hood were… Read more
independent. The under basket is huge and can store heaps of things. The thing I like most is the harness clip it is spring lock and is very child proof (adult proof in some cases to. Easy to push, fits two children quite comfortably, infinity recline positions. The independent hoods were great. Nothing at all.
Excellent – The best pram for twins plus a toddler, I love the extra pockets and the zip off extras are fantastic- the rain cover is one of the best I have ever used and the insect/uv screen is fantastic for keeping bugs out. It really is quite narrow, though can get caught sometimes more so because of the length- not the width. I love the look of it- love… Read more
the toddler seat although the only improvement would be to have more support or semi reclinging for the younger child who still sleeps.
Good sized basket- Love the four wheels you can walk on a slope with the 3 children and it won't even feel like toppling. Very strong, a little bulky and heavy but it is strong- so I would not have bought anything else it is the best on the market for twins plus a toddler.
Everything is included the tyre pump for the pump up tyres, the only thing I bought was a drink bottle holder for my own drink.
Highly recommended Takes twins and a toddler. quite narrow and easy to manouver. Strong and sturdy. Eztra pockets are handy. It is heavy- our basket broke in the first couple of weeks.
Excellent – This stroller is the what I wished I had purchased when my twin girls were newborns. It is fantastic. It has a lot of storage for all those extras you need with multiple babies, and is still quite roomy for the babes in it. All the storage in no way compromises on room for the kids. The basket is a great size, the included accessories… Read more
(raincover, sunshade/mosquito net, tyre pump) are fabulous and are all really handy. It is a great feature that these are included with the pram itself, if theres something I hate - its having to pay extra for all those accessories. This pram is quite a lot narrower than my last twin pram, and I have no troubles at all going out with my twins. I was really excited to get my hands on this pram after reading all the great reviews it has, and I have not been at all disappointed with it. It is sturdy, and you always feel like your babies are safe and have plenty of room within their own seats. I would highly recommend this pram, it is well worth purchasing for your little ones. Superb to push, plenty of room for both children. Easy and comfortable, very sturdy. Best twin stroller I have ever used. Lots of storage is a must for twins, certainly meets that criteria.

Know better, choose better.
Bad – This is really one of the only prams that will carry twins and a toddler (my toddler was 16 months old when the twins arrived!) I changed the tyres to Valcos solid rubber tyres as I was constantly getting flats, which was leaving me stranded. HAVING THE RUBBER TYRES TAKES 5KG OF THE PRAM... SO BUY THEM WHEN PURCHASING THE PRAM. They are so much… Read more
better, no change in the ride, pram is lighter, never have a flat. I wouldn't use this pram if I only had twins.. there are much better twin prams out there, like the Peg Perego Twin Aria.. which I also have... weighs 8 kg, folds totaly flat, will fit in any car. sturdy, plenty of storage, comfy for the kids way too heavy, tyres go flat (try pushing 3 children with a flat!!... I have the toddelr seat also), locking mechanism when closed is weak and prone to breaking, making it really hard to lift. don't buy this if you just want a twin pram, only purchase if you need to carry twins and a toddler.
Good – I think this pram is great even though it is heavy, it is sturdy and you can feel the quality. I test drove some other twin prams and they were flimsy and didn't feel as safe. This is great for my twin, both seats recline seperatly so if one is awake the other can lay down for sleep. It fits through all standard doors (this was my biggest fear… Read more
of twin prams)and comes with zip on UV shade and full rain cover. It was very heavy straight after birth, no way could you lift this if you had a ceasar. but as i have gone back to normal now i am used to it.
Excellent – Great pram, good for 2-3kids, large basket, seperate hoods, raincover & uv mesh netting included in price, easy to steer & fold. love the colour. I love everything about this pram, i bought it when my toddler was 2 & I was epxecting bubs n#4. I love that you can have bubs laying down while toddler sits upright. My pram came with a raincover as… Read more
well as the uv mesh cover. Extra big basket comes in handy, especially when you go shopping. Hubby likes the adjustable handle, I love the wrist strap so u don't have to worry about the pram running away. I do alot of walking & found that this pram is so easy to push & navigate considering the size. I also like that you can purcahse a toddler seat with hood, which is going to come in very handy for me as I'll have a 3yr old,11mth old & a newborn nxt month. So I'm glad i bought this pram. have to take tyres off to fit in the boot. Unfolding is a bit tricky.
Excellent – With toddler seat attached to front , my 20month old son had a birds eye view of world whilst the twins were snug in the main pram - great to manouver with swivel wheels. One of the few twin prams that support baby as newborn. This was the best baby product i have ever bought. Although it is heavy to lift you only have to lift it in and out of the… Read more
