Valco Viva

I loved this product and used it until bub was 3 months – I loved this bassinet and used it for ages. I had a tall baby (in 97% percentile) and I still kept her in it until she was 3 motnhs as it was just so convienent. I had my baby in summer (Brisbane) and never noticed any heat issues. The hood was sufficient and the extra covers (rain and fly) were also really handy. I loved being able to see and interact with my baby and also loved being able to know that she was comfortable whilst sleeping in the pram. It was also really handy getting in and out of the car, being detachable also meant it was really easy going out to dinner at family and friends places as it became an instant portacot. In fact we used this twice on weekends away instead of the portacot.

The pocket at the front was also really handy. So convienent

OK – Convient bassinette as fits with the new Valco Quad, and if your wanting Valcos brand reputation and the rearward facing option with the Quad then the Viva is the way to go. Just monitor the tempreture inside the bassinette on hot days Not a bad bassinette. It attaches to several of the valco prams, is easy to keep clean, and one of the only bassinettes that has an attacment to reaise the head area if wanted It is made of non breathable materials and gets extremley hot in hot weather. Moving baby from car into shopping centre only takes a few moments but once inside it took me 10 mins to cool down the sweaty baby, the tempreturee inside the bassinette was quite high.
