Vanchi The Joplin Barrel

Good and bad – Initially I loved the bag (and in many ways still do). It looks great, is a good size, comes with all the accessories (bottle pouch, change mat, dummy holder, wet bag etc). However... after using it for approximately 6 months, it started to look really old! The material it's made of almost started to disintegrate. Along the stitching lines in particular, it started almost peeling away, little holes started appearing in the sides of the bag (I guess where it sat against my body when I carried it), and the handles started to peel as well. Inside it still looks pristine, and I have continued using it (in total about a year and a half now), but with another baby on the way it is not going to go the distance. Shame since it wasn't cheap to get in the first place. Looks great, good size, handy pockets etc. inside (good internal layout) Whatever it's made of is not at all durable and disintegrated within a year. Not good enough quality for the price. The exact same bag made with leather would win me back!

I love my Vanchi – The Joplin is a great nappy bag that doesnt look like a nappy bag. It fits everything i need for a day out with my bub without being bulky. The included accessories are fantastic, especially a fan of the dummy safe. The bottle holder is the perfect size for my drink bottle as i am not bottle feeding my son. The pockets inside the bag make it easy to organise everything so i can find it all. I have the purple colour and it is just gorgeous. I feel so stylish using it and yet it is just so practical too. Reasonably priced for what you get, great colour, great accessories, fantastic customer service
