Hoover linx cordless – Don't waste your time buying one of these useless vacuum cleaners. Battery fully charged lasts about 10 minutes. Definitely not as good as what Sales Rep promoted, absolute white elephant
Love cordless vacs – Happy overall BUT did need to take vac back to get it fixed not happy it took two weeks to get it back from repairer still under warranty. I feel I should have just been given a new one straight away. Hope I have no further problems. Fingers crossed.
Excellent – Very convenient and efficient unit which I would have no hesitation in recommending for those quick clean up jobs around the house. Lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. Controls on grip providing easy change between tiles and carpet. Performs well on both surfaces. Easy to empty canister and washable filter. The 18V Lithium Battery does not lose suction until the very end. There is a light indicator display that shows you the charge remaining in the battery. Stylish looking unit. Only came with one battery in my case and proving very difficult to purchase a second battery. Godfreys only supplier and they do not have the ability at this stage to provide another one as considered a new item for their stores. Also can't get one from overseas as sites tried don't deliver outside the States. Definitely needs two batteries as recharge time between use is 3 hours and battery lasts around 13mins, less on carpet. Although very efficient I still consider for large households that it would not replace a regular vaccum.
Wendylea I love my Vax LiNX too
My husband just dropped my Vax LiNX and right after I had just bought a second battery and charger. It cost $300! The whole handle snapped off and can't be repaired so if anyone wants to buy 2 batteries (or just one) let me know on here
Hi there, how much do you want for the batteries? Joumana
Hi Kayla interested in Linx parts if still available?
Excellent – I Love this machine, it's so manoeuvrable. It works equally well on carpet and hard floor, as the roller brush is retractable. I can do my whole house with the 2 batteries. The charge lasts longer than stated in brochure. Each battery does a canister full. It compacts the dust & debris so that the canister is easy to empty into a biodegradable nappy bag.
The battery charge is shown on the front of the wand. It flashes when you need to change it.It's also easy to see that the canister is full. the on/off, hard floor/ carpet switch is on the wand so it's very easy to just flow from hard floor to carpet by just rolling the switch to the next spot as you go.
The machine pivots slightly from side to side as you manoeuvre it around. This was a little disconcerting at first, but one quickly becomes accustomed to it as it makes it easier to go around corners and get under lower furniture when folded down flat.
the canister and battery are both easy to remove and replace, as is the internal debris filter + HEPA filter.
I looked at the Electrolux Rapido, but thought it too small for my needs.
I also looked at the Electrolux Boss, but it has a Ni Cad battery- not good enough these days.
I like the 2 18V Lithium Ion batteries, they are lightweight, longer lasting & more powerful than Ni Cad, NiMH or Lead acid batteries. Though more expensive, initially. Ease of use, lightweight, washable HEPA filter, 2 long lasting removable lithium ion batteries +separate charger. Clear, easy to empty canister Cleans right up to edges. Picks up animal hair and wool fluff + crumbs and dust effectively. Not a 2 in I. No variance on suction ( both minor problems)
Rather expensive, due to Li-ion batteries
