Works great – Has amazing suction on carpet and lino, picks up so much without the annoying end piece attached, perfect size to clean a caravan out and has a nice long cord, loved using it, only thing is how insanely loud it is, sound and suction power goes down the fuller it gets, (to be expected, so keep a little trashcan ready to dump the excess crap it picks up) i dont think these sell anymore but wanted to add input

exceptional and on par with the commercial vacuums I use at work. Any time I feel like the suction has reduced a little, I just give the filter a good wash out and its back to its former glory. I have only replaced the filter once in all that time. If anything, the only minor downside is that the barrel is small and needs to be emptied after every 2 or 3 uses. Otherwise, it's ridiculously good value for money and I highly recommend!

Cleaner use – I'm a cleaner and use this to clean homes. I just always make sure to empty and clean the filters. As long as you take care of it then it will give you amazing suction. I love that I can carry it when Doing stairs or hard to reach areas

I hate this vacuum – It's more effective to get the broom out than use this vacuum on my lino, tiles and polished floor board house. We have one carpeted room and it makes no difference to that floor. I went to Good Guys to buy a Dyson but a friend said she used this model to vacuum at work and the same model (but different vacuum) to clean a friend's tile floor… Read more

and recommended it. The Good Guys don't allow customers to try in store before they buy. I was assured I could bring it back if it wasn't good enough. I took it back but they refused to refund me. So for the past year, I've been driving 10km each way to borrow a friend's Dyson. I finally researched again and have just ordered a Numatic Junior (you know the blue vacuums with smiley faces?) from Tensens.Com.Au which has fantastic reviews by commercial cleaners. A friend recommended it as she'd used that two of that model It doesn't pick ANYTHING up and blocks very easily.

Cheap bagless vacuum. Emphasis on cheap – The first one of these I got the motor died after a few uses. I replaced it and the other one is still alive, many years later. out of the filter. Do this in a strong sealed plastic bag our outdoors, and wear a face mask if you have it, but you won't avoid getting it on your hands or breathing it in. It's this experience that meant when it was time for an upgrade, I went with a bag model. Cyclonic ones may be better but I haven't tried one. It doesn't pick up long hair from carpet (although it tends to bunch them) but that's not really a criticism, you'd be hard pressed to find a non-turbo or power brush model that does. $99. You will eventually realise that unless you live in a shoebox sized apartment by yourself, you'll need to upgrade. I'm keeping it as a second one for quick vacs of non-carpeted areas. Quite loud. Emptying dust and dirt is not a pleasant or easy experience. It's a cheap, basic vac that "does the job" so long as your expectations are low.

Very good value and does a good job – I purchased this little vacuum cleaner a day ago as I was sick of lugging around my larger heavy one. I was amazed at the amount of dirt, hair etc it picked up and managed to get around the house in no time flat. It is easy to assemble, empty the filter and store. It's a good buy for anyone looking for something light but still effective. Very happy with it. Light, easy to use and is powerful enough for my requirements.

A great little appliance! – I bought this vacuum cleaner mainly because of the price and that it is compact. It has surpassed my expectations! What a fantastic little appliance. I would definitely recommend it for a vacuum under $100. The price point, suction and ease of use Being a small unit you do need to empty the dust & dirt container frequently but this is to be expected.

Good – Apart from what i stated in the pro's section it is a great buy at only 100.00, it doesnt just get up dust and hair etc.. it gets up dirt I never knew was their, being a cleanaholic I want the best and value for money and i have found it. I brought this vacuum yesterday and cant stop using it, it has excellent suction, long power cord, lots of accessories and came with a extra filter, I am very happy with my purchase nothing so far!

Bad – Suction is alright. It can do its job. But I had to return it to a store because of the noice it makes. I have 2 other Volta vacuums and could compare this model to others. Price :) - very loud, especially in high sound frequency - desing is cheap
