Amazing value for money! – (We have the Mega Gen3)My mother bought one of these because of the price and its quality surprised us. Powerful vacuum that does a great job (ive had to go digging for socks!) I went and bought one exactly the same for around $150 with bags as I could trust it would work well. It is used frequently and gets abused a fair bit, yanking it up and… Read more

down the bedroom step by the pipe and smashing it against walls and furniture, and we are yet to encounter any problems!

The cord is retractable which is a blessing in disguise, however it could be longer, comes apart in 3 pieces for easy storage and it's easy to move around with its wheels.

This is my first ever vacuum cleaner and is likely to last me a while! Price, quality, strong suction, has bags for easy cleaning, retractable cord, easy to move around, compact Cord could be longer, although its average in length

Okay for the price – This vacuum does a good job and has good suction power. However, I find it is heavy, clunky and a pain to manoeuvre, especially around corners. The cord isn't smooth running or overly long. The build quality is great for the price - maybe too good for me as I find it has actually scratched the walls and possibly the floors. And whilst it is… Read more

sturdy, it is not stable and likes to flip upside down. price, good suction, sturdy heavy, inferior manoeuvrability

Excellent – If you want a simple vacuum that just works, this Volta is great value. Works better than all the bagless vacuums I've tried. Great suction, picks up dirt and dust well. Simple to operate. Good range of cleaning heads. Nothing to complain about.

Excellent – Grabbed this for $165 plus free spare bags from Good Guys after a bit of bargaining. Rated well in Choice magazine and happy I followed their advice. Have had this vacuum for 3 weeks now and I love it so far. The small rollers on the combo floor tool makes it so easy to glide on carpet and the suction is fantastic. Vacuuming is no longer the… Read more

struggle it used to be and at such a good price too. After some of the horror vacuums I've owned this is luxury. Powerful suction, 6 different heads included, cloth or disposable bag, long power cord. None so far

Great motor in poor package – After 15 years of hard use my previous Volta burned out so I replaced it with another of the same brand. The suction of the Mega is excellent however other details let it down badly. The body of the vacuum flips over pressing the on/off switch unless you push the body manually every time you try to move in a direction changing more than 90… Read more

degrees, which makes vacuuming surprisingly irritating. After only eight months the turbo head plastic fractured around the spinning brush and had to be replaced and now, after less than a year and a half the collapsible metal wand no longer stays extended. This last issue makes vacuuming impossible. I'll have to decide whether to replace the wand and expect the same thing to happen in a year and a half or to replace the vacuum altogether with a different brand. I'm fairly certain I'll be changing brands, which is a pity because I was very happy with my earlier Volta. Strong motor. Failures in design and quality of manufacture make vacuuming far more difficult than it need be.

Good – $189 in July 2007 and this machine - did the job, or so I thought. Won a Dyson from work, and the dust it picked up from what this vacuum left behind!! If you live in a normal sized home this machine would be great. I only live in a 2 bedroom unit, so this is a large machine for a small area to clean. Bags are cheap and can buy anywhere, however a… Read more

cloth bag is included if you prefer to use that. Dust seems to stick to the body of the vacuum, nothing a wipe over doesn't fix :) If I didn't win a Dyson I would be happy with this machine, only downside is I don;t know when to replace the HEPA filter, nor do I know where to purchase them from. 3 floor tools, HEPA filter. Can select how much sucking power you want for the job you are doing. A bit loud - hose not that long - wand doesn't seem to work right - either the shortest setting or the longest - won't lock in between lengths.
