An ideal stick for the forward line. Dead trap, sweet spot, heavy bottom – Best stick I ever used. I have played national and state hockey. The stick is dead stop for trapping. Its got a sweet spot for hard hits. The weight is in the bottom of the stick, therefore helps to steal the ball from the opponent for the 50-50 balls. Slim stick with a perfect head for ball control. Although the grip wears out but can be replaced with any grip. This is an ideal stick for forwards mainly because of the dead trap zone and the sweet spot. I just brought a Z10, will update with review. Wasp is a small company run by a former English Captain. The company had conducted a thorough case study into making of sticks i.e the material curve etc from Sheffied Hallam Sports University. The Z9's and the Z10's are mostly sold out and difficult to get. These sticks were priced approx $500 when they first were out. The technology used then is used now by stick makers.

Great all round stick – The stick has a nice feel and looks great. Good for fast ball control but also great for hitting hard, it has a lovely sweet spot, and if you can find it everytime, only minimum force is needed to hit a nice hard shot (both strong side and reverse). Only problem being, same as all Wasp sticks, it is quite prone to fast wear and tear. I've had mine only 2 months and it already looks worse for wear than my Adidas HS3 which I used all last season. The grip has started to peel at the bottom and the paint work has scratched off faster than any stick I have ever owned. feels great when playing not a lot. only one fault - it is ver prone to fast wear and tear.
