Bad – All-in-all, perhaps you get what you pay for. This model is noisy and does a poor job of extracting odours and smoke. My advice would be to spend more and get a higher quality unit with greater extraction capacity and a quieter design, especially if you have an open-plan home where living spaces adjoin the kitchen area. It looks okay. Filters can be washed in the dishwasher. The two lights produce a good amount of light to cook by. This thing is quite noisy. I've had it for two years and I'm sure it's significantly louder now than it was. I could put up with this if it actually extracted grease and odours effectively. Unfortunately, it does not. I suspect the reason it has become noisier over time may be partly due to the fan motor sucking in grease from the gap between the two mesh filters and clogging it up. And I often have cooking grease dripping down from the gap between the two mesh filters and on to my cooktop. Even when I run it on top speed, I still get a kitchen full of smoke when high-temperature grilling and the odours linger way too long for my liking.
