Very good design, easy to use – On the "plus" side : Very good design : it can be connected on either 380 V or 240 V (on one or two circuits). We have ours connected on two circuits of 240 V and, in such way, all four cooking zones can be extensively used on the same time without the risk of an electrical overload. Due to its cooking zones arrangement it can accommodate very large cook pots while still left plenty of room to work around. The control panel is very intuitive which makes the induction hob very easy to use. Since our induction hob was installed on worktop right above the floor cabinets hosting two ovens, it was necessary to ensure plenty of ventilation, thus preventing, in the long run, the elements for overheating or, worse, their burn-out. Not having a proper ventilation or not having ventilation at all it is, actually, the general problem - leading, in time, to partial or total failure - for all "built-in" electrical appliances, problem which, unfortunately, many installers are not capable to acknowledge it !!! All-in-all, for 12 years, we are the happy owners of this induction hob !!!

On the "minus" side : It was a good idea if the edges of this induction hob were not just beveled but protected by some stainless steel trims, as well.

Purchased for $2,500.

Rubbish – The elements have fused, cost more to fix than to buy a new one. Hard to get parts as whirlpool has apparently gone broke. Can't get hold of anyone to help at all. This is expensive cooktop and we have had two replaced under warranty, now we cannot get parts. Looks good, easy to clean Just kept blowing elements and bad service
