Great aussie made fridge – Initially I was buying this fridge to suit a cavity but many other considerations shown to me also seemed important and these considerations really determined my choice of purchase more than any other reason. This is an Excellent Australian made fridge built to an Aussie standard and not a price. You really do get what you pay for, buy Aussie stuff and don't be ripped off make sure you get Aussie protection through Aussie legislation.

Average fridge – This was a very loud fridge. I agree with the reviewer about the fan . Drove me mad at night for first couple of months but got used to it . drawers are also cheap - sliders not rollers. They never slide well and they get iced and jam up occasionally . Other than that it does what it should and I haven't had actual faults .

VERY POOR QUALITY AND SERVICE – Received the first fridge/freezer and it was defective, neither the fridge or freezer were reaching industry recommend temperatures. calls and technicians visiting my house a month has passed and it is still not working. I called Whirlpool AUSTRALIA and surprise surprise I landed in a foreign country, who then wanted to give me instructions on who I needed to call and what I needed to do to get the problem fixed - they definitely do not understand the role of the customer and the supplier.

Makes me wonder if Whirlpool has still got the quality they use to have. After sales service is very poor.

age, the manufacturer advises that "shelves of the fridge are not included in the terms and conditions of our manufacturer's warranty and considered as an accessory only." Who buys a fridge expecting to have to replace at extra cost any shelves or drawers if a fault occurs. Nobody tells you when you buy a fridge that the shelves and drawers are not covered by the warranty. I will be complaining to the consumer affairs dept about this. I don't believe the drawers are of Merchantable quality.

Perfect size for the the height fitting – Early days but so far love this fridge/freezer. We got the silver one. Wanted one with a water dispenser but too expensive to have plumbing done. enough room with another compartment for meat. Freezer space also perfect. Shelving also good and strong. If looked after, cant see a problem happening with this fridge. It is an attractive new addition to our kitchen. Guess who's Mum has a Whirlpool!! Nice deep space, great for bigger plates or platters.

Shelves not quality – Nearly all the shelves are broken in our fridge. It was not due to high weight just poor quality of shelving. Excellent Quality – This fridge is the best quality fridge on the market. It is made in Mexico. The shelves, trays and everything inside the fridge is top quality. Best quality fridge on the market, top quality inside and out. Aluminium colour shows up marks easily. Prefer white but they don't come in White anymore.

Don't Buy Whirlpool Rubbish – My side by side freezes at the vent between the fridge and freezer. It started doing this in the first year. I need to defrost my "frost free" every 6 weeks. Whirlpool repairer and company "customer servce" don't want to know me. My phone calls and e-mails e ignored. noisy, unreliable, bad after sales service, avoid!

Terrible – Basically if you're the kind of person that is completely oblivious to noise and you absolutely NEED a narrow side by side then I'd recommend this fridge. air-conditioner. The fans go on at least every 10 minutes for at least 5 minutes (usually closer to 10 minutes) and if you open the fridge a lot the stupidly loud fan can be on for an hour. Narrower than other side by sides so fits into smaller space.

Great layout and loads of space inside.

if you have furry pets in the house - amazing how much dust they pick up which reduces efficiency. Narrower than most 2-door fridges so perfect for fitting in the fixed-size alcove in our kitchen. Bright interior, no icemaker (more freezer space, no plumbing required). White matches our decor better than stainless steel. Freezer is narrow but deep.
