Excellent – I have had the camper for only one month, and had not had a chance to use it as away from home, but have camped in it at home. The quality of the camper is second to none. The welding and chassis construction is spot on, electrical installation is fantastic and overall finish is great. I originally looked at Xtrail a few years back and boy how things change, the company has come along in leaps and bounds. Sam, the owner, is a very easy going person and was willing to accommodate my raft of custom modifications and endless emails.

I believe the camper will server our family many years to come.

Well done Xtrail Price: Fantastic bit of kit for a shade under 10K.

Finish: Excellent, all gal materials, great paint and finish.

Fit out: Even better, attention to detail spot on, insulation spot on.

Over all, this is the best camper under 10K for anyone who knows anything about campers. Whist there are cheaper imported knock offs, these campers are built in Victoria, in a fully equipped workshop, to a very high standard and have exceeded my expectations in price and quality. Non to list

was it a hard road to get down to your back yard post something when you actually left your driveway?

Not sure what you mean but the camper has been extensively tested and come up trumps, no issues to report, Sam has offered fantastic follow up service. The camper has been fully kitted out with LED lighting, DRFITA kitchen and more bits then ever imagined. Going around Australia next year so that will be the ultimate test.

BTW, i understand you own a GIC camper, the ranges uses Xtrail independent suspension setup, as per my camper, so we have something in common.

Rugged, dependable, easy to tow, great tent – Just completed 9,999 kms month long round trip Melbourne-Perth, camping in SA,(Ceduna and Streaky Bay) and SW WA ( Margaret River, Denmark, Albany). Trailer operated perfectly, other than hot offside hub after first 500kms, fixed by replenishing grease. 12 ft Tent went up and packed down just fine, but I used a trap underneath to keep base a bit cleaner, and my wife is very impressed with the tailgate kitchen, compared to our old standalone and tent setup. Bed was comfortable, no leaks ( we did wet down and dry the tent a few months earlier). Battery lasted 9 days ( supplemented by 20watt solar panel and Ctek D2505 battery manager) before needing a recharge. Electric brakes operated perfectly. Everything, except I now want some side access to the trailer base,
