Yamaha AG200E

Yamaha ag 200 – I have bought my first Yamaha badged motorcycle. the ag 200 is rubbish compared to my previous Hondas. it rattles and has no horsepower. The carburettor has already been replaced within the first 6 months of me owning it. I would not recommend this bike to anyone but two good reliable stock bike I have liked lots is the Honda crf230f and the Suzuki drz400e.

Great, bulletproof bike – My Yamaha Ag200E is about ten years old, and has been a reliable workhorse all the time I've owned it. I use it around our small farm every few days, but bought it primarily as a hunting bike. The bike doesn't have loads of power, but doesn't have too much trouble sitting on 60-70km/h around the place when there's enough room to wind her up. I've not had any problem mechanically, but am timely with maintenance and service it regularly.
Racks front and rear hold a good load, and the seat is second to none, supremely comfortable even when spending 4-5 full days riding around the scrub when hunting in western NSW.
Design hasn't changed since about 1999 when they introduced the electric start (hence the 'E' in AG200E), don't mess with something that isn't broken. These are the Landcruiser of the bike world.

Great workhorse – tough bike, have had two over the years.Good low geared for going slow behind amob of sheep and climbing the steep stuf.Probably got 50000km on each but speedo broke on each at around 12000.Very reliable, but could be built a bit tougher,eg light is only plastic.rock gards are lite tube as is handle Very reliable Probably a bit rough in the ride
