Good – Is a FUN scooter to ride/own.. Comes into its own when OFF ROAD.. Do agree that rear suspension little under dampened - reduces ride comfort. Good value for $$ against poorly built Asian imports.. 2 stroke,100 cc engine that takes mods well.. LOTS of after market parts to achive more out of this little engine available. Rides well OFF ROAD.. Lots of rubber on road surface, and goes hard... after my mods sits on 100km/ph :} Rear suspension - lacks dampening, giving a bouncy ride after hitting bumps on smooth road..Not so noticeable off road as unit working harder.. Knees do hit on front panel on occasion, and center stand can scrap when cornering a little hard..

Excellent – Its exactly what it is made out to be.A good quality Scoot thats both fun an practical. Outstnding value. Handle's well, good- excelent chassis .Brakes are good at the front but its under braked at the back with just a drum brake thats only good for scrubbing off speed, not stopping although the front brake is up to it.Having said that I would like a slightly stronger front brake. No problem with grip the tyres are quite sticky and dispite their high wall give good feedback and inspire confidance when pushed.The suspension is a little under damped making the scoot pogo a bit after hitting large bumps in the road but for the price and speed you will be travelling they are okay. Better than Vmoto or TPG scoots I tried.

The Engine is great and one of the finer points of the scoot.It won't wheely dispite the claims of others but it is strong in the mid range and is good for 90KPH plus. With a 80Kg rider it is good enough to accelerate up quite steep hills no problem.Compaired to some 125cc four strokes it has a little less bottom end torque but once the revs are up it takes off in typical two stroke fashion.It realy is a fun bike to ride ,and for the price -unbeatable. term "sports scooter". Compaired to other Asian made scoots the Yam is much better put together and has a real bike quility. Center stand hits the ground when cornering hard
