Yamaha Cygnus – Love this scoot, owned it for 11 years and would not part with it. Stylish design comfortable nice clock display powerful braking and very nimble and all the time in my ownership had zero problems. No probs at high speed or low speeds rain or wind it does the job, bright head and tail lights. Great economy, I do look after it with regular oil… Read more

changes and thorough cleaning and it's served me well. See a review above rating of one star complaining of poor reliability, unbelievable.

Top scooter when a little kit added to it – Stylish and comfortable. Very easy to handle. Good brakes and suspension. Nice to your budget considering its gas consumption and maintenance. A bit lazy when accelerating, I advice to customize it with a "belt kit". A great scooter that I have kept 7.1/2 years for the first one riding +10.000km/year overall. Having another Cygnus for 3 years, ridden 33.000km already and no pbm. Show details

I am happy with my purchase – I love my Yamaha scooter! It has no gear shifting, so I do not understand why the person in the above comment is complaining about the gear box. It is easy to operate, nice to ride, quick in take-off. It has a nice and sharp design, it is low maintenance, as well cheap to run (approx 32 km per litre). The scooter has a huge storage area under the seat (fits a helmet and my jacket or a backpack) and many safety features. Love it!  Show details

Terrible – Extremely dissappointing under the circumstances. I Was seriously looking at upgrading to a TMAX, but other brands are now a consideration. Bottom end of the engine fell apart after only 36,000 km. 2007 model purchased in 2008. Quote to repair $ 2500.00. 5 weeks (and counting) wait on parts. Delay on parts due to rare situation. Yamaha accepted no responsibility for delay or cost.

Excellent – fuel filler is in front fairing and not under the seat, the storage is huge, and power is great, 8.2 kilo watts, which is more than some larger bikes. yamaha reliability fuel filler locayion, storage, great power. no clock, or trip meter
