Terrible!!! – We purchased this back in 2011 and had NOTHING but trouble, the machine was returned for repairs so many times I lost count. The sales rep was helpful initially but after x amount of returns he started blaming us for the poor quaility machine. Sone examples, “there was a lot more of pet hair in the machine, that’s the problem” (we hadn’t had a cat… Read more

for 6 months, there couldn’t have been a lot of pet fur in the machine). Another one was “its dusty, you wouldn’t expect your laptop to operate in those conditions, so why do you think it’s ok for this machine to???” Hmmm, it’s a vacuum??. The last time it was repaired it was returned without the screws put back in. My normally very calm hubby had words with the rep and actually hang up on him, something he has never done before, but was sick of being accused of causing all the problems. At that point, we ditched this brand and went back to the brand we had had previously. We had the machine for about a year, most of which was spend in for repairs. I would NEVER recommend this brand to anybody, it’s terrible and has a rep that offers great customer service until you question his product and then he turns nasty. AVOID!!!

Poor customer service – Do not buy from these guys, I have had a terrible customer service experience with these guys. The guy is just so convinced that the customer is wrong and he is right! The product is not amazing, and broke after just a year. I suggest buying something cheaper. Note: On his website he even says, "do not trust the product review website" (in… Read more

capitals). What? we can't trust reviews we as consumers have written for each other? This guys needs to get real and realise that he is not always right.

I had a standard size 4 bedroom house with tiles throughout. Often the robot would get lost and run out of battery searching for its home station. It is light enough that it is not heavy to move back to its base, but very annoying, and not very 'robotic'. It has poor manoeuvrability and is always getting stuck. It is very noisy. On the tiles it picked up most dust, when it got to it. but it did miss areas consistently.

Great Product and Great Customer Service – Having a very furry cat (thanks to our daughter who now lives overseas) and a husband with asthma I decided to research robot vacuums in the hope of outsourcing the task of keeping our tiled and carpeted floors clean. I wanted a vacuum that had a relatively short charging time and long running time, was compact and low, was easy to empty and… Read more

clean, would run quietly and that I could rely on to work effectively.

After gathering lots of information we purchased the iClebo Arte and I love it!

It does everything it's claimed to do - leaves it's base at a touch, works away with it's three brushes to retrieve an amazing amount of hair and dust, returns to it's base to recharge, climbs over mats and the slight inclines into our bathrooms and laundry - and the design is even attractive!

Just recently it decided to have it's first 'hiccup' since purchasing in 2013 - thought I might have just worn it out having run it at least three times a week since then! - but some friendly and timely after sales service has seen the on/off switch replaced at minimal cost (it was out of warranty) and we are up and running again. Thanks Alpha Robotics!

A valued member of our household – When I buy products on line, I always wonder how good they really are, and more importantly, will the warranty be honoured, and how good will the after sales service be. The product (iclebo home)works better than expected, the amount of dust, hair collected is quite remarkable. We are running the robot over Carpet and Tiles in a two storey home,… Read more

and vary the clean from one floor to the other on alternate days. We had an initial problem with a mobile phone cord that got tangled, and caused the machine to stop. I called the business on a sunday, expecting a voice mail, but spoke with [name removed], who arrange a courier to collect the unit from my work the following monday. The machine was repaired and returned to me within a week. The service just blew me away. I have since had a couple of unexplained E5 errors, that have proved to be temperamental...By that I mean, I get the error here, advise [name removed], I send it to him (at no cost to me) and the problem does not re appear when he gets it. [name removed] does thorough testing on the unit to ensure the issue has been resolved before sending it back to me, however, he could not get the machine to fail, and returned it to me ( along with some complimentary accessories) however, within a couple of weeks, I had the same error. He was concerned, and again arranged for the unit to be sent (COD) back to the office. Once again, the error did not occur during testing, however to ensure the problem does not occur again, mark replaced the main board, and one of the motors, and has extended the warranty on the machine. The product is extremely good, and I have no hesitation is recommending it to my friends and family, however, it is the after sales service that just "Blows me away" every single time. He truly believes in old fasioned customer service, and stands behind the product he sells. If you have been thinking about a robotic vacuum, and you want peace of mind on product and service, choose Alpha Robotics.

Steve Scown, Attwood Victoria The machine gives back family time If you leave phone charges and the like lying around, the machine may get tangled. We have a two storey house, so I have just purchased a second base station to save moving it up and down stairs.

Excellent device – Got one of these for my wife for her birthday. After comparing the performance of all the products in the category this model really stood out for having the most power and best battery. Works great - I can't believe how much grit it picks up on each day's "Dawn Patrol" over a large hard-floor surface. We have a Miele vac for the fully carpeted… Read more ·  2

upstairs and lounge room downstairs, but the iClebo always gets a lot more dirt out of the carpets when given a run straight afterwards.

Very well made and solid construction, and the sensors allow it to clean right up against the walls and furniture without any hard contact.

I didn't expect it to be anywhere near as good as it is. No fuss, no bother, it just gets on with doing the job.

Not cheap, but it has twice the power of most of the alternatives and is clearly a well made and high quality machine. As I said earlier, an excellent device. Quiet, no fuss, easy to use, reliable. Fascinating to watch - almost hypnotic Sometimes can't find his way home.

Worst customer service ever, Average product – The product - Cleans ok, is much more helpful then doing it yourself, but you will probably spend just as much time robot proofing your home and picking up the robot to return it to the base station. I do not imagine that this robot works any better then the cheaper options on the market. It is expensive for what it is, I would recommend waiting… Read more

until the technology is more successful or the price is halved.

The Seller - Obstinant and unhelpful, for the price you pay you would expect a little more assistance, not arguments and resistance.

Overall - Wait a few years for the technology to mature and then buy somewhere other then AlphaRobotics. Better then doing it yourself Poor customer service

Well worth the money – I have had the Robot for 12 months. We have a highly allergic short-haired dog and the house was a constant storm of dog-hair. I run the Robot every day, at least once, and it does a great job. There are a few spots under the piano and in some corners that it can't reach, so we also vacuum normally once a week. This is a vast improvement on coming… Read more

home from work every day and having to vacuum before anything else. (We do the carpets with a standard vacuum cleaner because my daughter's long hair is easier to remove from the Dyson than the Robot.)

It took about a week to work out problem areas in the house. In a couple of places I taped electrical cables out of reach and there are a couple of chairs I need to pull out a few inches before the robot sets off to allow it room to move around them.

We have had a couple of issues with the Robot - an electronic error in one of the wheel motors and a problem with the brush - but these were repaired quickly by the supplier and the cost of shipping was covered by him. He also extended the warranty and sent extra filters and brushes for free when he returned the machine. I have no problems at all with the service. Effective, labour saving It occasionally gets stuck on a piece of furniture and has to be restarted
