   Verified  EnergyAustralia

I had a billing issue with my Gas account. I tried the online chat option & got absolutely nowhere & in addition was waiting between 10 & 20mins between responses, after being…

told 3-5mins. 1hr & 40mins later I gave up. I then called the Customer service representative line. I didn’t wait long to be put through to a CR rep but somehow they were also unable to resolve my complaint. The CR representative also literally asked me questions that were completely irrelevant to my query, like if I had another property? I asked the guy if he was in Australia (already knew the answer but Canstar have EnergyAustralia as having an Australian call centre. The CR representative confirmed he was overseas. Frustrating & time consuming to say the least. Changing my energy retailer to one with an Australian call centre, even if it costs a little more

   Verified  Menulog

Something is seriously wrong with Menulog – 4times in the past 4 days I have attempted to have an order delivered by menulog. Each time I have had to cancel the order because there weren’t any drivers. The restaurant…

doesn’t start making the order until the driver arrives (not sure if this is actually true) 2 of the times my order sat in limbo for over an hour & you can only contact the them via a “chat box” which both times showed there were hundreds of ppl in the que in front of me. Absolutely appalling “customer service” Ive deleted their app

   Verified  GIO Car Insurance

Worst experience of my life – I pay $1200 a year for insurance with GIO, I am 48 & have four policy’s with them. My car was hit while parked. I made a claim & it has been a total nightmare. My car has been…

sitting at my chosen repairers for almost 3 wks. First I was told by the assessor that was assigned to sight my car, that they are not obliged to assess my car unless it was on “mutual ground”: The assessor was totally rude to me the entire time he was on the phone, it was very clear that he wasn’t trying in any shape or form to make my claim experience at all less stressful. I’ve never heard of this policy of requiring a car to be on “mutual ground” & neither had my repairer. I wrote a letter of complaint, which was never responded too: There is no information in my PDS regarding this mutual ground policy, they tried to insist my car be either in my driveway or at my workplace but on my repairers advice I stood my ground. Another week goes by, the assessor finally assess’s my car at my chosen repairers & wont authorise the repairs on the spot when asked too by my repairer. The assessor informs me the next day to return the loan car that my repairer provided, pick up my car and take it to have another quote done at one of their “recommended repairers” I call and voice the inconvenience and time delay that this would cause me, the CS rep tries to call my assessor, twice, she then says she will try to get a team leader to speak to me, however they also appeared to be uncontactable. I am promised that a team leader will be returning my call within 24hours, it doesn’t happen The next morning I wake to the assessor calling me, the assessor is so rude, every time we speak, I won’t talk to him on the phone so instead I got a lovely txt msg from him “Good morning, I have tried to call you about the assessment to your vehicle you will need to take back sheens hire car to pick your vehicle up and once that is done we will be able to direct you to a recommended repairer to quote the damages to you vehicle if there has been cost involved for the vehicle you have been using or for storage on your vehicle we are not obliged to pay for as your vehicle is driveable if you are unable to obtain a quote we are happy to get your vehicle towed” Now does that msg sound like they are trying to make my claim seamless & hassle free? I may add I do have a second quote, but they won’t accept it because it’s not one of their “ preferred repairers”. And the two recommended repairers they have given me have completely terrible reviews. I went back to my repairers today & showed them the msgs the assessor has sent me, they were also completely appalled & tried to call the assessor & speak to him but he was again unavailable. They won’t process my claim until I get a cheap, nasty quote from someone they send me too. Be aware of this policy when you’re considering taking out a policy with them & choose them because you want to choose you’re own repairer. Not that it should matter or make any difference to receiving even a basic level of customer service, I’m currently having chemotherapy 3 times a week & really don’t need to be inconvenienced at all. I lodged my claim 23/01/2018 claim no M044099732 and my car is still not repaired. I have never been treated so appallingly in my entire life. I wish I could give 0 stars. Stay away from all of the Suncorp insurance companies.

   Verified  Beds Online

Never Again – Bought a Queen bed ensemble. The site stated they were taking back orders, gave an expected delivery date of 8th of May. I heard nothing from beds online after I paid so I rang…

them the end of the week beginning 8th of May. The customer service rep promised me she would chase it up & reply via email either the same night or next morning. Took a bit longer but this is the reply I received.

I have checked the status for you and although we advised ETA was beginning of May, unfortunately the shipping company has now advise us of further delays and the new ETA date for the container to arrive in Sydney is approx 20th of May. We foresee the container stock to be received into our warehouse approximately the first week in June-and should be shipped within 7-15 working days after it arrives.

So we went from the 8th of May to a projected date of 20th of June or later!! And that's not even a definite date, it's tentative.

Are you kidding??? If I wanted a bed to be delivered almost two months AFTER I ordered it I would've ordered one from the USA myself.

Firstly YOU need to ring people & let them know ASAP that there is an issue with their order. Communication is essential to keeping customers happy & I am not confident that had I not chased up the order myself, I would have been notified at all by Beds Online.

You need to be much more upfront and HONEST about the ETA of items that you are taking back orders for. That is actually TELL people the beds are not even in the country yet & when they arrive it takes a month to receive & distribute them.

If I had known this information upfront, I would not have ordered this bed at all.

Let's see how long the refund process takes.........
