Bloomex Paltry bouquet – Bouquet delivered bore little resemblance in quality to the display pictured. There was no confirmation it'd been delivered. Additional for next day delivery. Arrived as requested.… |

Thrifty Excellent customer service – I collected a car from Perth domestic airport on 6 November. There was a notice on the Thrify counter inside the terminal that it had relocated to the car park. It was easy to… find and the walk was short. The two young guys on the counter were so cheerful and helpful and greeted me the second I walked in. We had a laugh about my upcoming reunion. The check out process was speedy and the car was ready. The man at the desk highlighted existing damage (a barely noticeable dent) to the vehicle and asked if I'd like to pay extra to decrease the excess but as it was covered under my travel insurance I declined. The make of car was what I ordered and I had no trouble with it at all. When returning the vehicle extensive roadworks at the airport made finding the car park difficult and I couldn't find Thrifty drop off point. I parked as close as I could and ran inside where a lovely, lovely lady on the counter calmed me down as I was running late now and that told me it was OK, that I wasn't the first to get confused and she would get someone to help me. She called the guy in the car park who came straight over and he was so sweet. He walked all the way to where I'd left the car, checked it over, helped me get my luggage out, made sure I knew how to find the departure terminal then drove it back to the right place for me. I had a ghastly experience with a hire car firm last time and I was dreading it. Needn't have worried. Everything went smoothly. So often on these forums only people with bad experiences write reviews. This isn't one of those reviews. |

Specsavers Poor quality – I won't have my eyes tested at Specsavers preferring to patronise privately owned optical practices. Unfortunately styles there didn't suit and 2 pairs would cost about &1,000 and… as glasses weren't hadn't been budget for I opted for Specsavers. Selected from 2 for 1 mid-price range. Alarm bells should have rung when immediately advised frames from this range have no guarantee. Unfortunately both pairs have been taken back, twice each to tighten screws which is to be expected but arms have come away from both. The second time I expressed my displeasure it occurred twice; she attributed it to not using two hands to put on/take off, (I do) and sitting them on to of my head (I don't) and informed me I should have purchased the type with spring arms. Made the point I'd appreciated having known that when choosing and perhaps products are inferior as same issue has occurred a number of times with a colleagues frames. The fast food tactic of 'upsizing' i.e. add anti-glare coating for an additional $45 a pair was used. Had only 1 pair done. Can't remember which it was and haven't noticed a difference between the two. Have since saved up to buy from the optician realising you get what you pay for. Received a text when they arrived in-store, they were ready when I went to pick them up and the ladies dealt with each time were very pleasant. |

Topfield TRF2100 Developed every fault mentioned here – Bought my TRF-2100 December 2013. In 2014 the voice and picture would occasionally get out of sinc. If you paused then pressed play it would catch up so didn't think anything of… it. 3015 sinc got significantly more frequent. It started jumping ahead a few minutes. Guide doesn't display all upcoming programs. Reset time but it won't save so records wrong program. Now it's started turning itself off and I'm getting the scrambled signal message. Had someone look at as it's out of warranty (by 2 months). Said he's seen the problem a lot in Topfield machines. I'll contact the company citing Australian Consumer Law. Customers may still have a right to return defective goods even if the manufacturer's warranty period has expired. NB: contacted Good Guys and they said the company wouldn't do anything because it was less than $150 and not worth their time to look at it. |

Samsung Wave 723 Not as good as I though it would be – In my opinion the attributes of the phone are what you would expect from something in this price bracket. I didn't want anything too flash so it's a good entry level handset. Neat… size. Camera takes good quality pics. Protective 'flap' cover keeps screen from being scratched at the bottom of my bag. Price, camera, good brand name Keypad is impossibly small. Wanted to take it back after the first day. Touch one letter and it strikes those either side. Not using querty keyboard is slightly better but only works in portrait mode from what I can tell. Screen area very small. Should have spent the extra $ |
