Verified Tango Energy After being with Energy Australia for years, they kept putting my rates up every few months until it got ridiculous and I decided to switch to Tango. Within 3 weeks of signing up… I received a letter to say my solar feed in tariffs would drop from 3.3c per kw to 0.04c per kw. I then received a letter a few days later to say my electricity rates would be increasing from a peak of 39.3c kw to 47.04c kw. As a new customer, I feel absolutely blindsided by this blatant price gouging. Beware of their lies online regarding rates as they will quickly undercut them and become extremely expensive after a couple of weeks of signing up. |

Verified Ticket Merchant Refused to refund tickets after same day venue change – My first experience with Ticket Merchant has been horrendous. I purchased 2 tickets for TV girl in Melbourne in April for their performance on the 16th of July. The tickets were… for my teenage daughter and myself. We are based in regional Vic, so I purchased refundable tickets at a price of an extra $35 just to cover us should something occur. My total was over $400 including the refundable ticket fee. We had organised accommodation in Flinders St right near the venue as we would be using public transport and this ensured our safety on the night not having to wander around the city as two females. The day of the event (the 16th of July at 10.50am) I received an email from the ticket merchant, stating the event had been moved to a different location, over 20 minutes away in West Melbourne. We had just arrived in Melbourne via V-line train around 40 minutes prior when this information came in, as our journey was 3 hours and we were hoping to get ourselves set up and checked into our hotel. Upon receiving this email, I immediately looked at Google maps to find the new venue and realised that to get there we would need to catch a train and a tram there and back very late at night and I was concerned for our safety, particularly as I do not know West Melbourne well. So I made the decision to go back to our home via the next train at 1.40pm to not compromise our safety travelling at night. I then received a text message from the ticket merchant stating the venue change at 1.27pm. On our way back home, I submitted the refundable ticket claim listed on the purchase confirmation email and explained that this extremely late notice of a venue change so far away means we will not be attending the concert due to safety concerns and not having time to get closer accommodation etc. I figured that would be easy, my money would be refunded and I could get on with my life. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I received a text message asking me to rate the service the next day. I replied with my 0 rating and explained why, I received a reply to follow up via email and someone would help me. I clicked on the form for the refund to check if my refund was accepted and it was declined. I emailed to follow up and was told they notified me before the event so I do not get a refund. I replied that it was not acceptable to notify me the day of the concert and that I expect my refund. I was told I should've contacted them prior to the event, to which I explained that I did by filling in the refund form and that I was literally notified the day before. I was also told their refund form is a third party and nothing to do with them, even though they were the company that I made all the transactions through. I am now working with consumer affairs who have assured me that I will be receiving my refund. I do not recommend the Ticket Merchant at all. |

Supps 24-7 Ordered on website but order cancelled – I placed an order for some TUDCA which was available on their website. Payment was placed and accepted. A few hours later, I received an email that coldly stated they didn't have… stock of that item. This is very inconvenient and poor form. I would not recommend using this company due to bad service. |

Verified ScentGod Great service but charge more than worth! – I have been a premium subscriber of scent God for a few months now. I chose premium ($24.95 p/m) as it meant I could try brands like Christian Dior and Gucci but also others. The… thing I am appalled by is that if I add a perfume normally worth $17.45, I still get charged the full $24.95?? It just doesn't add up and completely unfair. I do love the concept, delivery is prompt, but this aspect just makes me feel ripped off and annoyed! They also sent me an EDT version of YSL Opium instead of the EDP version. |

Verified Sauber Powerprof SCP-9000 Best vacuum I have ever owned – After having a Dyson DC25 upright for 6 years, I was on the prowl for a vacuum that could handle the huge loads of mess that my family of four kids produce every five minutes.… Hubby and I started looking online and had settled on a commercial vacuum. We had settled on the Numatic Henry as it seemed to suit our needs. We went to our local Godfrey's store to see if they had any in stock. The sales representative showed as a number of vacuums, but I was really after something that sucked. He laid out a test carpet, poured sand all over it and allowed me to use the Henry. It seemed to look pretty clean, the vacuum was simple and at $450.00, it wasn't too expensive. As we were about to pack Henry up and leave, the sales person asked if we wanted to see another model that was more expensive but to keep an open mind. He pulled out this vacuum that looked pretty awesome which had a huge power head on it. He plugged it in and gave it to me. He showed me how to switch the power head on (very easy) and put a clear cannister on the side so I could see what it was sucking up. I was immediately struck by the self propelled nature of the powerhead and it's width. It could get through a huge area in such a short space of time! The sales person then took me over to the patch of carpet where I had used Henry and asked me to go over it with this vacuum. It managed to pick up 500ml of sand out of the carpet I had just cleaned!!! I felt the suction without the powerhead and it was truly mind boggling. He told me the price and I gulped, it was $1450.00 BUT we managed to get it cheaper. There are so many features of this machine. There is no need for an edging tool as the pipe is rubber tipped and shaped like an elephant's nozzle. It can reach skirting boards, architraves and corners. I have had this for nearly 7 weeks and I LOVE it. I use it twice a day and my house actually looks pretty clean, even with 4 kids under 10!! Highly recommend for every family. |
