The Lady Shake - Coffee Has kicked off my motivation – I've struggled for years with my weight. Tried so many weight loss programs. Got to a point I figured I'd just forever be overweight. Then I had a random conversation with a… male acquaintance who had lost alot of weight on man shakes I went home inspired and thought maybe I should do lady shakes , its worth a try. I lost 3.3 kg in the first week and I've lost nearly 6 kg in a month. I've got 40kg to go to get to my long-term goal but lady shakes have inspired me and motivated me. I've been taking it seriously. Making better choices for main meals and snacks. I feel mentally strong and saying no to what I use to eat alot of hasn't been an issue. I'm not a fan of banana and strawberry flavour but I don't like those flavours in anything, not just the shakes. Coffee would be my favourite. Its like a quick coffee pick me up and my brekky all in one shake. I usually have a shake for brekky and 1 for lunch . Two of my friends started lady shakes same time by coincidence. None of us had pre discussed it. Its great having that support and encouragement. I'm inspired to stay on the shakes and see where this journey takes me. I feel like weightloss is possible and a realistic goal and I haven't felt that way for a long time. |

Colourless Max Effect Hair Colour Remover First time use – I have never used colour remover before but after using quite a dark colour ( almost black) i was wanting to go back to red so i went with this product. The smell is revolting,… very strong and stinks like those nasty hair removal creams. It stripped the dark colour and left my hair orange. Not sure if i would use it again. its quite expensive to buy and i find the smell really hard to handle. |

Comfy Bots Unisex Best value Nappy – If your on a budget (or even if your not) and you want a good quality nappy without the hefty price, then these nappies are perfect. They are very absorbent, have cute animal… designs and are only $14.95 for the 44 pack . I buy these nappies constantly. They are soft and don't feel like plastic like some cheaper brands do. I don't think Huggies are any better then them. I find the sizing a little snug when i go on the weight guide on the packet, perhaps it depends on your child. I find that when buying for a child over 13 kgs, get the Extra large rather than the Large as they seem a bit too small otherwise. The nappies fit well around the legs. I only ever buy these Nappies or the Coles Brand ones and i am never disappointed. If your after a good unisex nappy then these are perfect. Inexpensive, absorbent, soft, cute designs. |

Coles Dry Fit Convenience Excellent inexpensive Nappy – I love these nappies. They are inexpensive, you can buy a pack of around 20 + for only $9.95, they are very absorbent and unlike alot of cheaper brand nappies they don't feel and… look like plastic. Plus they have a nice design on them, rather then those plain, white, ugly plastic looking ones other brands have. I find the sizing is good too. They hold alot of liquid and they fit well around the legs. I have used these nappies with both my children and find them fantastic. Your still getting a high quality nappy for a low price. I reckon they are as good as Huggies, but much cheaper. Inexpensive, absorbent, soft, cute designs. |

Pea Pods One Size An alternative to Disposables , but it has some flaws – Disposable nappies get expensive, especially if you have more than one child, which is why we made the switch and decided to try Modern Cloth Nappies (MCN) . I tried various… brands but didn't find them all that absorbant, so i decided to give Pea Pods a go. They cost approximately $20 each, so as an initial outlay it will be quite a costly investment as you need approx. 6 - 8 per day. MCN have the benefit though of saving you money in the long run. Pea Pods come in their own invidiual cloth drawstring bag, which happen to be useful to keep other things in too. (I used mine to keep spare clothes in in the nappy bag.) There is a wide range of colours and nappies are made from a Bamboo material, so it's soft on babys skin. Pea Pods are a pocket nappy which means you fold the cloth liner and insert it in the pocket for absorbency. Each nappy comes with the liner and there is the option of buying the Night Booster pads for extra absorbency - these go on top of the liner and then are both placed in the pocket. Although they say that the night booster is an optional extra, i found it was a necessity. The nappy just wasn't absorbant enough without it. I found Pea Pods to be a good MCN, but it isn't without it's flaws: - The washing, folding and putting together the nappy after each wash is tiresome and time consuming, especially if your busy. There were many times when i would get slack and just revert to disposables because i didn't have time to fold. - A few of my nappies had to be thrown out as the plastic coating inside the pocket started to peel off, meaning the outer cover was no longer waterproof. -Be careful with the fasterners, if you are too rough they will come off completely, making the nappy unusable. You can try and make do with only one button fasterner on one side, but the nappy does not hold as well. -Sizing isn't the best. I was told that the Medium would last my child until they were toilet trained, which is usually around 2-3, but by that age the medium was getting too small. I wish i had bought large. At 2, i find that the front of the nappy only just covers up the front of his crotch and there is a big gap. I also found that being a little bulky, they do have the habit of pulling the pants down a little. My children were often walking around modelling the "Plumbers" look. Depending on the colour of your nappy, will depend whether you have a dark or light lining. If you have a light lining, i highly recommend using nappy liners. The Pea Pods seem to stain easily no matter how you wash them and its not the best look having permanent brown stains. Even with these flaws though, i was still happy with the Pea Pods. I would still recommend them, they do save a bit of money, but i think your better keeping them for home and daytime use. I found they just wernt absorbent enough for night use, even with the night booster. I prefer to use disposable nappies for night and when we go out, and using the Pea Pods at home for most of the time use, means i only have to buy a small packet or disposable nappies or buy a big box and they will last longer. Despite having to have thrown some out, i still have quite a few pea pods left and they are still in good condition and have lasted 2 children. When trying any type of MCN for the first time, i suggest buying a couple first and seeing if they work for your child before you make the big investment, otherwise its alot of money if its leaking all the time and what works for one child, won't necessarily work for another. Pea Pods and other MCN often have trial packs you can buy to test out the product first. Pea Pods recommend giving your nappy a few washes first to help them reach their absorbency potential , so give them at least a month before passing judgement. Bright colours, easy to wash, leak proof 97% of the time Expensive outlay; can be tiresome to fold; sizing isn't the best |
