  Dyson DC19

Quality vacuum cleaner – Purchased in January 2009. My first Dyson, and is suitable for hardwood floors. Works no problem to this day, and has no problems covering 58sqm of an apartment. Plenty of

slack with the power cord.

No issues with maintenance, very easy to use, and suction is always strong.

Recommended for all! Reliable, value for money, easy to use

Great home theatre system – I picked this package up from Dicksmith Warehouse for $729, great price! 6.1 speaker system, with a component AV receiver. Pros: 6.1 speaker system, AV receiver great at

processing various video/sound sources. Sound is clear and crisp, video is perfect. Plenty of inputs.

Cons: AV receiver is only component/optical. Supplied speaker cable is not the best, I used my own. No HDMI. 6.1 speaker system, AV receiver great at processing various video/sound sources. Great tab! – Picked a 32GB up at the Harvey Norman firesale for $149. WebOS is great, a big difference to in user experience to iOS and Android. Great thing is that you can install

Gingerbread (Android 2.xx) on this, and hopefully soon, Honeycomb (Android 3.xx) and/or Ice cream sandwich (Android 4.xx).

Battery life is better than most between 6-8 hrs depending on usage.

Screen is great at 9.7' with a resolution of 1024 x 768. Looks great playing HD video.

It runs smoothly with a 1.2Ghz dual core processor, which can be overclocked to 1.7Ghz.

Bad bits is the lack of a card reader, USB, HDMI out, or 3G. Inexpensive, customisable, decent screen, and battery life. Weight, no card reader, no USB, no HDMI, and no 3G.

No fuss dishwasher – I moved in to an apartment with this dated model dishwasher which I thought would be a problem, but I have no issues at all. Coming from a home which had a double drawer Fisher

& Paykel, I wasn't impressed with going back to single drawer dishwashers.

But after using this for 2 years, I'm pleased with the results.

It's easy to load and unload, the various functions are straight forward. No complications at all!

The size also suits big pots and has no issues with any of my dirty dishes. Easy to use, plenty of space, no residue, drying cycle, cleans well, and easy maintenance.

Perfect ultra portable laptop – I've had this laptop for over a year and don't regret buying it. At the time, I needed a laptop that is ultra portable, 13.3", 1366x768 res, inexpensive, and can handle games

like Left 4 Dead 2.

CitySoftware had this for sale at $609.

The laptop features itself is great.

It has a 5 in 1 memory card reader, 1 USB port on the left hand side, and 2 on the right.

The touch pad is responsive and includes additional finger gestures to maximise usability (e.g. pinching to zoom). In between the left and right mouse click buttons is a fingerprint reader which I use on a daily basis to access the laptop and other applications.

The keyboard is easy to use, is full sized, and doesn't feel like it's cramped, even when playing games.

The battery life is wonderful. I can get a full 8 hrs when brightness is lowered. When taken off power, the laptop recognises this and automatically reverts to the low voltage graphics card. This improves battery life, and can simply be switched back to the high performance graphics card once you hit the battery switch to turn off battery save mode.

Performance isn't too bad, as it can run Left 4 Dead 2, and Starcraft 2, so I'm happy.

No optical drive, as that would defeat the purpose of it being an ultra portable.

Will be upgrading it to 8GB soon.
