Contacted Sydney office only to be given the run around for several days. Eventually told its busy at xmas and basically bad luck. Who would of guessed a delivery company would get busy at xmas. Looks like there are many people in same situation by the reviews.

Optus are quite will to keep signing new customers but don't upgrade the infrastructure to go with the increased customer base. All other reviews, there internal forum and other sites show customers from all over Australia with exactly the same issues.

We arrived Sydney airport with plenty of time to see the check-in staff calling people in the queue for flights leaving before us. There is also a big sign saying check in before 45 minutes before flights and a mark at the start of the queue line stating the same. Its also on the terms and condition of the flight for everyone to see so please don't blame the airline of your late, its isn't their fault if the traffic is bad, or you slept in.

Sydney-Proserpine flight left on time and arrived early. Staff were great, exactly the same as Virgin and Jetstar.

The return flight exactly the same, although one moron was attempting to get a backpacker was attempting to get luggage on that was about a metre long and obviously overweight, then had the hide to start to carry on like a clown when told it had to be checked in. Most people in the queue were either laughing at him or getting annoyed due to his rudeness. The girl on check in handled situation very well and did not move from her decision. I found their was actually room in the overhead lockers for your bag instead of having to cram it in as everyone has more than the recommended luggage allowance.

My thoughts on Tiger have changed and can recommend them after my first dealing with them
