this week. I took it to the dealer this afternoon and his plan is to have the car for 4 hours to pressure test the battery. He reassured me that it wouldn't stop! I mentioned that I had been on the internet and had read that the battery needs to be at 75% capacity for I stop to work which he agreed with. He quoted me $600 for a new battery and I replied that RACQ is $250. His response to this is that it has to be a Century battery. He also mentioned that the batteries only have a 12 month warranty. I pushed for a warranty claim, but that would been having them test it and having to pay dealership rates (which are out of the ball park) if it is not accepted I love my car, but am very disappointed at having this issue 2 years into my "Mazda Experience" Me thinks turning off the I stop and a call to RACQ is the way to go.
